Tiki Trader Trades

I missed this "COOL" trade yesterday.... I hadn't woken up from my nap yet.... when I did... price was racing up to the 5 ema..... I had no time, but just to sit there and watch... price had already almost gotten there...

I take a long here, 4 hour time frame @ 115.16.... target 30 pips because it is 4 hour time frame.... but price quite some ways away from the 5 ema....

Cool system you have here! I am following with interest.

Thank You !!!!! Becareful.... this system takes a lot of time and work !! I spend almost 10 minutes a day.... hardly leaves room for naps....

Ohhhhhhhh... not easy to resist this one... !! Price some distance away from the 5 ema on daily.... the week starts with a gap..... (though I see price went down before market open on Oanda, so I dont really believe in gaps ) But lets see if it fills in anyway !!!

OK... Long EUR/JPY @ 114.72.... target 50 pips to 115.22

OHH.. price goes lower still... in one day we made it to bottom of the BBs daily... I add a third TT5 LONG here @ 113.64.... but uped the trade size to 1,500,000 units..... go for 20 pips only.... price down around a lot of recent lows..... time to retrace some... gap still not filled.... now time for price to come back up to the 5 ema daily... and then the 5 ema weekly... I HOPE THAT.... !!

Ohhhhh something bit me... !!!! everything went dowm !! supposed to back to the 5 ema FIRST....

I got out of all three above last trades when m account was 30% down....ohhhh, at least I was smarter than before and not let it go further... I couldnt bear.... I dont know how many pips lost... lost 30% of over250K....

I had to take ectra long naps since.... sleeping pills in fact!!!

I went long again @ 110.42

This time target at big PPZ @ 113.50

Hi Tiki,
I just want to pop in to say that you are doing better. If you limited the loss to only 30% that is so much better than a total wipeout.

You have never had any problem in making pips, just in hanging on to them! Oh well, just 22 consecutive winning trades at 2% and you will be back again.

OK... I keep my current trade open target 113.50.... if make that target I will get back at least half of the 30% I lost.... These days I have not had a problem to hang on to my pips.... i doubt there are many here who have gone a year and a half without losing.... this time the problem was that I open three trades at the same time.. all on the same pair and price just kept dumping.... new rule for me is never more than two trades at a time.... although I dont use stops... my get out point is usually when my account is down 10 to 12% per trade.... and although I lost 30%... it does not hurt much since m account grew about 150% in the past year and a few months

Price finally now heading straight towards the 5 ema weekly.... ! And hopefully hit m target soon on the way ! target 113.50 .... just a few more pips away... thats gonna be 360 pips for me.... !!!! ohhhhh I keep my mouth shut.... ! Ill jynx it.. !

There we go baby !!! Target hit @ 113.50..... in at 110.42.... I count that as 308 pips i got back !! and put 19 K back into my account !!!

I presume a few of those pips were yours Mr Trend... !!!!

30% is nothing, most systems I've tested have drawdowns of up to 40% and there is nothing wrong with it. Happens maybe once a year, but that's nothing bad.

Don't worry about them, you'll get those pips back soon.

Haven't seen ya post in a while. Hows the trading going?

It has been a very long time since I came here... Now I will begin to past again... I did not stop here because I was winning or losing, but simply because one day I realised I just dont need Forex Factory for my trading. I can trade well on my own. But I have been bored...

I still use almost exclusively TT5 as my trading system. Nothing much has changed.

Lets wipe the slate clean here and start from scratch on the tally...

I made one trade yesterday at the beginning of the week...

EUR/JPY short towards the 5 ema @ 130.49 target 50 pips... out @ 129.99

Target hit for 50 pips and added 3% to my account
