i guess you can still open position in the opposite direction on 2nd account if hedging is not allowed. probably not the same psychologically but same effect financially

Guys, if you want to lock you just have to use a non-US broker that allows hedging, like I do, no big deal really. You living in US doesn't mean that you have to use only US brokers.

As an American citizen you have to pay your taxes, that's what matters. Which broker you use is none of the governments' business.

IMO,That pattern even if you only have 5 pips TP and 3 pips net(depending on your broker), and say you can trade only 2 patterns every day, thats 6 pips(6%) of your account. 132% for a month( much more if you compund) which no banks can give you that interest . But again my biggest problem is my greed . This Im going to master to control and its not easy

Hi everyone,

I try to practice with LFH Trading Simulator, but it looks like, that the TMA 5Min channel and the TMA 15Min channel looks different then in a forward test. Is there any way to calculate the TMA 5 and TMA 15 from 1 minute data? I think because the LFH simulator can use only 1min datas/candles, and TMA 5 and TMA 15 needs data from 5min and 15min candles.

Yes, this pattern works, and setting small targets is a smart thing to do.

tonimg, I personally don't use partial exits, I believe in my TMAs and I believe that most of the times TMAs show the most profitable exit.

I can't say anything about Al Brooks (it is impossible to know all the PA authors), but I'm glad that you paid attention to post 2598. If Al Brooks didn't give you the knowledge of the pattern I showed in post 2598 that means his course is incomplete.

The problem with most of the PA courses - most of them are just compilations of the other, the older courses. Even bigger problem - most of the PA courses are not about PA at all! I understand that it sounds funny, but that's true! There are a lot of "PA" books and "PA" courses that talk about Japanese candlesticks and their patterns! Please understand - Japanese candlesticks are Japanese Candlesticks and Price Action is Price Action!

I recommended Lance Beggs because his course IS about the REAL Price Action and because it is the best Price Action course available. The pattern I showed in the post 2598 is from Lance Beggs' volume 2.

well, as I wrote here already, I think that the problem is not with the timeframe, but with coding of these indicators. I'm not a mql coder so I dont know where the problem could be, but 5min and 15min takes informations from future, from data stored in your comp. The 1min is fine.
I found out this problem when I was backtesting, but had a big gap in stored data feed and M5 with M15 started to curve out of chart screen couple of hours in advance....
So then I took couple of screen shots at live market a compared it with visual backtesting at the same timepoint. 1M TMA is the same, but 5M and 15M TMA behave really differently - they predict the market according stored future data.
Maybe some coder here can help to solve this problem.

No, not exactly!

I don't lock the pair, I lock the price! If I have a lock for EurJpy and I see a good EurJpy entry I just enter and I operate as though there is no lock at all. When I see an excellent entry that I believe can help me to unlock the lock, then I unlock the lock.

Yes, you can say Locks = Hedging

killerno, you can put 3 different TMA M1 on the same chart and try to change the second TMA's settings so the second TMA would imitate the TMA M5's behavior, and try to change the third TMA's settings so the third TMA would imitate the TMA M15's behavior.

But saying it is much easier than doing it...

You can play with "HalfLength" and "ATRMultiplier" settings.

Just a side note, as I happen to read Al Brooks' books recently. His books are all about chart reading and price action. No fancy candle names and such. Personally, I like his way of reading the charts. The books are somewhat tedious to read though and he only focuses on a single chart (no MTF analysis). Of course, you can always apply the same principles on a higher/lower timeframe and do it yourself.

Probably tonimg didn't find the pattern I showed because he studied Al Brooks' videos, not the books.

Thats it, The books are very big for me because of English!! I need 4x your time to understand the same amount of text I will check again some videos, study them and not only to watch them, and if I need more I will start with Lance Beggs books ((if Favourite has not finished the pictures summary!!))

For example the M15 200ema is about the same value as an H1 50ema ( 200 * 15min/60min = 50).
But I dont know this works same in TMA indicator or not. Gonna play with it
