Quoting stockwetDislikedI'm not sure if ForexFactory will be adding the new BGX document or not, and I'm getting a lot of PM's on it. So, here's a temporary link for the document: http://mysite.verizon.net/stockwet/BGX.pdf.Ignored
Quoting smjonesDislikedHi Stockwet,
Thanks you for sharing your document... It is great when people share the fruits of their labor and I can see you have put alot into this... So here is a big thumbs up... Scott

Quoting stockwetDislikedIf anyone is interested, I do have an updated version of the BGX document. I never posted this one (I'm the original author) for various reasons. I wouldn't mind posting it here, but, it's a bigger file and I don't think I have permissions to post it (I think it's about 2 MB).Ignored
Quoting MelinniDislikedHello Everyone!
I've been using BGX in a demo account like for a week ago. Haven't traded so much cause I use to miss the European session. Anyway results till now have been mixed.
I want to ask you guys any advice or something in this trade I took today.
Cross @ 1.2580 downwards 10:30 EST.
This candle hit entry price but i didn't enter cos it was in the last 5 mins of the candle. The price had left behind wma 100 and daily open and i had bull sentiment for dollar. So I waited till next one and enter the trade 11:03 @ 1.2560, S/L 1.2580, TP 1.2535.
The price didnīt go down and my S/L was hit 12:14.
After that price went down and reached the levels where my TP was.
The question is, I did something wrong? or was it just a normal reaction of the market!
I aprecciate any answer to this guys!!!Ignored
Quoting SidusDislikedHi guys,
First of all, Stockwet, thanks a lot for the great pdf's, they were really helpfull to me!!!
I'm using BGX for about a month now at a demo account. I've won 3 out of 4 trades.
Now, Ive got two questions:
1) How many trades do you win using bgx (... out of ...)
2) What is your risk/reward ratio?
Thanks a lot for your answers, I just ask this because I'm developping a money management system for BGX and I need a bit more results than my own.Ignored

Quoting great*daneDislikedYou will be disappointed with my response... After initial excitement, I had a strike of (demo) losses, and just couldn't get a single good trade out of this system anymore. So I basically gave it up and went back to looking for something more compatible with my personality. I guess BGX just isn't my type of setup.
To answer your question I had 3-4 good trades in the beginning (about every other trade was successful) and then there was 20 or so loosing ones. After that I stopped trying. Did I give up to early? Perhaps, but trading this method just didn't feel good to me.
Still, in my opinion Stockwet's files are really helpful, thank you!
If you can get 3 out of 4 trades right, that's great! Add some good money management plan and you are all set.

Quoting dunningdukeDislikedThe market has been really bad to such methods as the VWB and BGX in the past week. In my opinion, it has been a very short term trader's market. It is extraordinary how in two to three days one is able to lose the money he or she worked so hard to earn in the past month.
Also, such methods work for some pairs better, or in a more predicable way, than other pairs. 20 losing streaks is a little bit excessive ... bad luck. What do you trade?Ignored
