Trend line seems to say it all. Took a loss on cable from yesterday. But again look at the overnight range. I'm seeing the same things as Joe how I managed a loss is beyond me lol. Good job me BP shares flew up!

lol yea C345... this is the exact reason I try to stick to somewhat higher timeframes. With smaller timeframes, I can't see the forest for the trees and don't know how anyone else does

Hi everybody,

I'm done for the day. I've picked 24 pips on cable just some minutes ago. I entered this time just at the buffer line and exit at 1.5366, with a R/R ratio of 1.2.
I decide target according what FXHard said about BO average. Half of the average I think it's ok. Thinking about trade in the future with two lots, one targeted to the half of the BO average and the other 3/4 of the average maybe.

Ok we broke out and looking very nice

5422 is probable tp on this stretch unless it blows through that level but I'm going to set my tp to 5600 while I sleep. c u all in morning

Caught that from 17 up to 60. Bought off the daily pivot. Not exactly ssbo but profitable

good morning

finally GU order from yesterday closed on 3rd trade. I really hate to leave the trade open overnight, but that's why i have a journal and next month i 'll be more comfortable with those trades or will be closing them in the evening.

My last trade on GU. I know that i changed my settings. I know I should be forward testing these for 100 days. However, in all my iteration testing i ran across a pip / buffer setting that still gave me a 3 trade win percentage the more bars that were closed. So I switched to this setting and this is what I will be running my forward tests with.

Anyways, heres my chart for today.

Yep, your predictions are much better than mine, for sure. Up instead of down. OTOH, I have managed to pull about 145p from Cable since my prediction, so it's not all bad.

Same here - and got the pm thanks FXH.

So where is cable going today? Friday usually a funny day anyway ssbo telling me to buy at 400 and sell 370 (which is very close to daily pivot). No major news in UK today. Orders in both sides as usual but very small on the long position suspect we might see a retrace to the 50 area then maybe even the 30 with some profit taking after a bullish week. But wait until London opens for a move as always.

Here's my chart it doesn't say much really. Good luck guys follow the rules in post 1 and you be okay. I don't lol but I'll get 20 pips somewhere. FXH likes the 15 min chart I happier with the 60 but both work.

I believe GU to be in uptrend for at least 200 - 300 more pips before a turn around so from my perspective SO I'd be careful of anything short but I agree 5350 - 5300 is certainly possible. I'll be accumulating in these areas. Personally I don't worry about weekends and overnights so fridays don't matter to me unless NFP is near. Here's my 1HR chart just for you

Yeah I agree - I trade intra day mainly just look for a quick 20. Just missed a short entry so flat at the moment. Expect to see 5500 in the next week

Edit only thing stopping this going down is the damn dp giving support..
