I got in at 150.98 after I saw this. Now I'm trying to figure out where to get out, because the Usd/Jpy pair is getting ever so closely to 100, and I think I'd rather be out before we see the volatility that may play out at that level.

Just playing it by PA for now though... which always seems to work

Thats your sentimental view, however the fundamental and technical outlook is firmly bullish. And based on price action alone, pullbacks will be short lived unless there are fundamental drivers behind a stronger and more forceful move to the downside.

Expecting bull flag to continue by the same distance.

Do you have any rules about it?

I think some people like to use S/R levels and others use oscillators.

I'm holding my longs and getting all caught up on this thread. started from around page 290 up... although Im not sure when exactly certain comments were posted pages back, shorting is just crazy. running with the pack, theres a party going on all the way to the top! m/ see ya there!

Wow for real? No floating margin? With your skills?! Change asap and go thru cashback forex and get .70 a trade bonus so happy I found them lol, its a nice monthly chek you normally wouldnt get

I've been lurking around in here a lot, and geppy and bob just to name a few of you are definitely amazing traders...i just recently started trading "the beast" lol....i was wondering though what effect will the usdjpy have on this pair once parity is hit?

that would be unthinkable.

if .uj goes to parity, geppy will fall from about 151.80 to ~1.56 --- a disaster of epic proportions! :nerd:

(thing is, before japan inc is done foolin around here, it just might actually go to parity )

They used to allow it, and then they stopped. MBT is conservative and that's part of the reason I chose them back in the day. When brokers were imploding (and taking client money with them), I was erring on the side of caution.

So what I'm really looking for (in order of preference/importance) is:

1. reputable
2. tight spreads
3. pyramiding

I've been looking at FXDD... anyone on them or used them? Thoughts? Spread looks tight, seem reputable (and I do know their name and that they've been in the game awhile). Not sure if they allow pyramiding though.

My own account is tradestation and my clients is fxcm, bith are amazing and bith of their platforms crush mt4 well I never really liked mt4 so I am biased

Tradestation has level 2's , add and close positions seperately as does fxcm. Fxcm has a sick spread on their dealing desk but I use the no dealing desk with +1 pip spread.

They are my 2 choices.

From August, 2012 - April, 2013

EUR/JPY = approx. 3,100 pips.

GBP/JPY = approx. 2,700 pips.
