In my post I was referencing 17:00 EDT for the Sunday open. My point of the post was simply the struggle for control of the currency at the very top of the pecking order and I was not trying to suggest anything else.

If one actually wanted to dig deeper into what that event meant and relate it to price you would find out some interesting things, especially in relation to my discussion with SP this past Friday in this thread and where orders were placed. I do not look to the market open on Sunday at 17:00 EDT though. Events like that have future repercussions on price because of the amount of orders it caused. It was a very meaningful event in terms of price and orders.

Bad timing on my part. I wasn't really referring to your previous post. I was looking at some charts you posted a couple of weeks ago and noticed you had a line for the weekly open. Some people use 17:00 edt, some use 00:00 edt and others use 00:00 gmt, was just curious which one you were using.

The OR is always in play except NFP. He's in if he's trading. I took my 1/1 and am holding with BE stop.

I believe it was 00:00 ET. Those (2 charts I believe) were showing some of my thoughts in relation to some levels discussed in this thread based upon on how I view them.

Curious as to why you wouldn't adjust an entry based upon the fact that NY opened near this level, which would bring additional orders into the market and cause the move down prior to hitting last week's high. I understand you have your rules, but I also know you have stated that your entry/exit is adjusted at times and not exactly at the established level. I have a feeling I already know the answer, but like I said I am curious.

Maybe I should ask it this way. After you have seen the move up not hitting the PrevWkH and a NY Open close, would you enter on a pullback to the NY O, or will you again wait until the PrevWkH is hit?

Thanks. I have not found a weekly open time I am happy with. Weekly close is usually a fairly solid area, so I just stick with that.

I had my order one full pip inside the level. My feed had the high at 395 and I put the order at 385. even 375 would have missed on my feed. I would have had to go down to 350 to get the entry. I won't sacrifice that much stop distance. I don't mind too much missing a trade even though I bit#h about it when it happens. I now am leery of the level though because a miss this close has eaten up a lot of orders.

What really makes me mad is when I mismanage a trade. I sold the daily open on GU today and the price just ranged around all morning so I closed the trade at 1/1. It is now trading right around 2.5/1.

Weekly open is the same as the Monday daily open. Three hours before London open.
