Dislikedas far as with my research, there is no direct way for MT4 to feed the values of the indicator to excel. one method is to ask the creator of the OHLC indi to modify it so it will export the values to a csv file everyday. sorry I'm a newbie in MT4 programming. but once it has been exported to that csv, I can modify the excel so that it will get the values from the csv automatically.Ignored
DislikedHi, folks. Just wanted to add a little support to the idea of having MT4 update HLC on the spreadsheet. The attached indicator will perform what rstanger indicated. It will take the yesterday's and before yesterday's HLC values and place them in a text file. Currently it will only update the file on the new D1 bar. So when u run it don't expect to get a file unless u are right at the first of the new Day. The file is located on the /experts/files folder and is called D1_Quotes.csv. If you do want to see it working immediately just comment out the...Ignored

Dislikedwell this is my understanding , Yellow sheet has more accuracy than a red sheet and it advises to be cautious when the 2 sheets give a different signal . so when the signal is buy and buy or sell and sell in both sheets then we take the buy or sell ( here there is no confusion ) now when the sheet gives buy and sell or sell and buy , u need to take some external support ( like ema cross etc ) to determine which is going to start off first . normally on that day both the signal will click see yesterday EU first sell fired , took the sell it hit 2900...Ignored
Dislikedin which timeframe do you use the Ema 100? In Eur/Usd for example the daily timeframe ema 100 ist above price but in the 1H timeframe ema 100 ist under the price.Ignored
DislikedIf you will be following the signals based on what is stated in the fibo excel, you can find some idea in 'backtest' sheet. I think it is using 2 excel files which is 1 EURUSD and 1 GBPUSD. look at the below picture: {image} If you look at my previous post, I do not trade based on what the final signal stated in the excel. I trade primarily on supply/demand and price action. I'm using the zones instead as an extra validation for my supply/demand which is manually drawn boxes. Here is my own backtest if we follow the signal, if we use the Limit order...Ignored
