How do yo decide the third signal? I am confused of selecting third signal?
If I select following three it should be sell signal for EURUSD. But you took Buy.How you conclude third signal should be buy?

Hi, folks. Just wanted to add a little support to the idea of having MT4 update HLC on the spreadsheet.
The attached indicator will perform what rstanger indicated. It will take the yesterday's and before yesterday's HLC values and place them in a text file. Currently it will only update the file on the new D1 bar. So when u run it don't expect to get a file unless u are right at the first of the new Day. The file is located on the /experts/files folder and is called D1_Quotes.csv.
If you do want to see it working immediately just comment out the following line:
From
if (!newBar()) return(0);
to
// if (!newBar()) return(0);
That will force the script to write to the file for every tick. It's ok for testing purposes, it works fine. Even though I did not see a slow down, I recommend that the line be left in when using the indicator for trading. This way it will not take much memory from MT4 and other indicators.
@rstranger, The next thing, and I know you already know
, is to create a macro and use a button or Cell that will trigger this macro. I created a macro and it worked perfectly, next I would create some sort of button with the label "UPDATE" button on the worksheet or better yet have the macro run every time you open the worksheet.
Anyhow attached is the code. I placed several comments for debug purposes, you may want to modify and or comment them out that so that their text won't interfere with any other object on the MT4 chart.

as far as with my research, there is no direct way for MT4 to feed the values of the indicator to excel. one method is to ask the creator of the OHLC indi to modify it so it will export the values to a csv file everyday. sorry I'm a newbie in MT4 programming. but once it has been exported to that csv, I can modify the excel so that it will get the values from the csv automatically.

If you look at my previous post, I do not trade based on what the final signal stated in the excel. I trade primarily on supply/demand and price action. I'm using the zones instead as an extra validation for my supply/demand which is manually drawn boxes.
Here is my own backtest if we follow the signal, if we use the Limit order and TP that is given by fibo excel there are only 339 trades out of 2079 where TP has been reached.
Win (with gbpusd)? Total signal is correct but TP not reached 1457 TP reached 339 Limit order not executed or a Lose trade 283 Grand Total (D1 bars tested) 2079
