ICM's pricing and fills are more similar to LMAX than Pepperstone.

Layars - I was thinking of getting that EA robinvol, but you think there is better performance with Pepperstone? While on the topic, has anyone noticed the similarities between ICM's site and Pepperstone? Are these guys related?
Ignored
I have live accounts with ICM and Pepperstone. Based on my experience, ICM's mt4 timezone is GMT+1 while Pepperstone's is GMT+3 and ICM's liquidity is peanuts compared to Pepperstone. (only 0.5M bid 0.75M ask first tier liquidity for eur/usd most of the time)

So,I don't think they are related.

I`ve been using fxpro`s ctrader for a long time. (live account)
It is very unsettled.
It is often freezing.

Nonsense, ofcourse ICM has to be blamed for it in this case again, since Im running their demo side by side with my live account feed, both interrupted at the same time.. And since ALL my other broker live platforms on my CNS/ NY didn't face disconnections on NFP whom Im gonna to blame for this mess IYO??? BTW my two CNS vps are 100% up since years during trading hours

i'm pretty sure you have a bad break. i'm also demoing on icm and so far no disconnection problems. i'm in canada, about 9 hours away from where their server is located and i'm getting a fair connection.

Everyone is threatening to leave the broker, or has already submitted withdrawal requests. Any reason why people are still sticking to IC Markets despite these outages and slippages problems that kept occurring?

Their spreads are lower than other ECN brokers. I have 6 ECN broker accounts, theirs are lowest. usually their server is fine.

but the advantage in spreads is nothing compared with server outage during critical time.

fxopen ECN is even lower I agree, but I don't trade Fxopen anymore as their server is not in New York(where most broker set up their server) but in D.C..

I have compared the spreads with Armada/LMAX and AxiTrader and agree that IC Markets are lowest. Do you have live account with FXOpen AU? FXOjafar claimed their spreads are lowest.

I was live with ICMarkets MT4 frozen or 30-40 mins so to the demo charts. Judging by the reviews on IC this is a common problem which is unacceptable. I had trades up over 100 pips which closed out at +6 when they decided to turn the switch on. Trading live with Armada Markets (excellent Broker) and also think forex australia at the time no issues encountered.

I did notice IC Markets feeds were unusual after the MT4 platforms regained life..

Thanks for that Victoria T

Although I don't trade the news, I've withdrawn my ICM funds and am moving on. Sure their spreads are good, but if I can't execute trades... what's the point?

What other ECN brokers offer 0.01 micro lot? AxiTrader, FXOPenAU, and LMAX only take 0.1 minimum.
Ignored
Although I only work with Aus brokers (easier for funding / withdrawing), with Axi, Go Markets, SynergyFX and Pepperstone - all of which provide ECN accounts and minimum lot size of 0.01 lots

How long did it take, for them to execute your withdraw? ICM seem rather bad with this operation.

is this so called connection problem fixed? if not, then i am considering the next two best: excelmarkets and armadamarkets. i really want to go with icm, but demoing right now. if it's not going to work out with their connection issue, then i'm gonna switch. i'm really hesitant right now because i haven't experienced this on the demo account, but after all, i am "demoing" so for those live account traders, any new feedbacks?
