We are on GMT time now in UK and the server is NOT on our time!

Just shows how they are confusing everyone doesn't it!
To be honest, the exact same EA with the exact same parameters (excepting risk %, which wouldn't affect pip counts) and taking the exact same trades, has actually done slightly better on ICM than LMAX, and significantly better than Pepperstone Razor for the month of March in terms of pip count.

I don't have this EA.
There will be others which work better on ICM because of the lower spreads
but profitability would depend on the chosen currency pair, EA settings, market conditions, if you are running a VPS etc etc

Layars - I was thinking of getting that EA robinvol, but you think there is better performance with Pepperstone?

While on the topic, has anyone noticed the similarities between ICM's site and Pepperstone? Are these guys related?

Frozen platform on NFP... Good bye ICM!
still frozen here 40 minutes later nfp

Also yesterday I had terrible execution on all my manual trades. I noticed some odd behavior. for example tried to close a 15 pips winning trade and the platform sort of crashed, then I closed mt4 then opened and closed the trade with no profit.

and today...unacceptable

No longer trading forex. Looking for full time job.
I have noticed that they have disconection problems a lot lately and it is annoying!!! the datas are missing on the chart and who supposed to trade in this condition?!

What do you expect here on the ICM thread? True reviews? Please use search function for Axis thread first and do your due diligence by research on the internet (google)
don't blame disconnection as a problem on the broker. yes, a broker should have several servers and connecting you to the one with the best connection. however, they have stated that their servers are in ny and london if it still hasn't changed. why not open a demo account and connect to them just to see how well the connection is. a demo account is still connected to the server you know to get price feeds and tp and sl are handled at the server. either that, or your connection isn't suitable for trading.

Nonsense, ofcourse ICM has to be blamed for it in this case again, since Im running their demo side by side with my live account feed, both interrupted at the same time.. And since ALL my other broker live platforms on my CNS/ NY didn't face disconnections on NFP whom Im gonna to blame for this mess IYO???

BTW my two CNS vps are 100% up since years during trading hours

Looks like you lost connection during that skipping. I dont see any skipping on my side and the big sell spike on the nfp announcement can be seen on my other brokers as well, there are no big sell spike after that.

Exactly, they are morons, because the freezing up has been going on for a very long time and its costing them money.
They better fix it soon or I'm going elsewhere.
I asked for credit for an AUD trade which I couldn't close last night.
I will let you know how they handle this

the frozen platform/no feed has impacted quite a lot traders and trades and, maybe incurred losses. IC markets management team needs to respond to all clients that are affected.

I didn't load up IC Markets mt4 platform during NFP, the screenshot was captured a few hours later. I didn't lost any connection therefore the problem came from IC Markets. Strange that you and I see different things on the same chart from the same broker.....

Does IC Markets target clients which they don't like?

(By the way, IC Markets does have the ability to freeze their cTrader platform order panel so that you can't open or close any trades. I have experienced this personally, that's when I decide to say goodbye.)
