Mr Pip,

I saw one of your posts some time ago asking if you should continue with this thread, if we are progressing due to what you have posted.

I for one can emphatically say that I've never traded successfully before, lost my entire first account of 10k about 3 years ago.

I had some extra time lately, so I decided to look into trading just for some fun and stumbled upon your thread.

Because you posted those first few trades before they happened, the bat one especially, and you called it exactly... I was sold. Thank you for taking the time to post your trades and teach us first hand, foremost THAT IT WORKS, then how it works.

I've since read the Harmonics books by Carney, watched your videos, read your posts and screenshots and also use the money management and pattern ROE docs you've posted. Heck, I've even changed the way my charts look to match what you use.


So, Please continue with this post and continue teaching us and posting your trades, docs and videos.

I have recently learned ALOT from those trade screenshots, it really made those aggressive C trades sink in.

Are you serious? I wasn't aware that someone had died and made you the superstar moderator of this thread my apologies. For the record if you took the time to read my post there was absolutely no new rules or any rules for that matter introduced. Simply put I just posted a pattern that I enjoy trading and areas that I was watching....

Not MR PIP"S rules and strategy ONLY!! lol. So I share some of the opportunities that i see that deal with that theme. Every now and again there is a muppet that comes along and decides he/she has the right to think for others. When that muppet directs his or her comments in my direction I will quickly squash the bug for what it is and move on. Some of those people make me laugh like Dibo because they pop off the breast milk just long enough to throw a tantrum and stoop to name calling but I learned a long time ago what a great comedian once said so eloquently: "You just cant fix stupid....STUPID IS fooooooevaaaaah!!" lol.



Honestly I don't know Mr Pip never met him never spoke to him never even read his rules as I have no need to because I earn a living trading what I see. I have absolutely no beef with him and in fact have a lot of respect for his willingness to post his ideas and strategies. From what little I have read he seems like a very nice fellow but I dont follow anybody. I like to share from time to time but like Mr Pip focus more on my own trading and making bank for myself and a small group of traders that I help out. I found this thread not because I need any help but it seemed like a good place out of all the other threads to share some ideas with people that may appreciate it. But as I say if my work of art is not wanted or this thread has changed to Mr pips rules only then i can always just go make bank and live happily ever after lol. For me i dont blindly just take a pattern and enter the market. I like to use them to identify areas for potential PRZ and then watch for the PA behavior i like to see to enter the trade. If the trade moves without me then so be it...NEXT!! I don't think Ive broken any rules in any of my previous posts as all I've tried to do is be kind, helpful and encouraging to others. A quick look at my posts before this nonsense will attest to that. Anyway nice to have people like you on this thread and keep up the great work you do as well. And regardless of what strategy or rules we trade by may we all always make BANK!!

I think you did great. Sometimes luck is having a little bit of knowledge and know how and having the balls to pull the trigger. If you never swing you never get a hit unless the pitcher just throws it at your bat hahaha. Is that what happened lol. Seriously though nice trading.

Dibo is correct. Mr. Pip kindly requested we stick to ABCD and Gartleys. He was just trying to keep the thread on track as also mentioned by Mr. Pip.

So, rather than fight with Dibo, maybe you should have searched Mr. Pip's posts. These two post of Mr. Pip's where posted last month. They were 2 of his last 3.Instead you derail this thread with unnecessary arguing and chest-thumping. Dibo was correct in suggesting you start your own thread and keep this one focused on Mr. Pip's wishes.

That being said, I think Mr. Pip has moved on. There is plenty of information in this thread to mint a bank if you spend the time and energy to learn, perfect, and make his teachings your own.

So, rather than argue just stick to Mr. Pip's wishes and post ABCD and Gartley patterns. That way those new followers can learn from your experience and the veterans can check their progress against your own. For other patterns, start a new thread, make it your own, and those that wish to expand beyond the basic ABCD and Gartley can interact there.
I bought Harmonic Trading Volume One two days ago. I find it an alright read. The only topics I was really interested in was, obviously, ABCD patterns, PRZ, Trade Execution, and Pattern Violations. Did you read through Volume 2? I kind of wish I bought that book first. I also have Trading what you see by Larry Pesavento that I haven't read yet. I look forward to that one.

On a different note, I don't know why Mr. Pip moved on. There is a plethora of information that can be shared and discussed. I'd like to discuss more, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes and upset this thread.

@CNTrader, I don't think the consensus is for you to stop posting. I for one am looking for this thread to progress.

Let me clarify a bit. I just did not appreciate the attitude and attack on Dibo when he was correct all along. I do not want others to stop posting, but we should probably help each other by adding detail to what is posted. So if the chart is not an ABCD or Gartley, it should be very detailed and usable for beginners and veterans alike. One problem is that Mr. Pip may have special rules for his Bats, Sharks, etc., that do not match the generally accepted criteria. That being said, any charts should have all appropriate waves and fib levels clearly shown. Entries, stops, and targets shown. Confluence, structure, price action also visible. As you can see, it gets messy fast. So, in reality, I do not have an answer, just leave the attitude and personal attacks at the door, they were over the line.

Ok then thats consensus enough more me. Ill take my ideas elsewhere. No need to waste my time. You guys want to defend Dibo and the way he spoke to me then thats your choice But for the record I defended my position and stand by it. Anyone care to see what I'm sharing in the future can hit me up on PM or add to buddy list. As always good luck with your trading and may everyone make Bank!!

first of all want to say BIG thank you to MR PIP for starting this thread. still going thrum posts and taking that information, need to learn more and more...so not asking questions yet still have lots to read. in a short future will start posting charts from what i've learned.
As per MR PIP R.O.E for gartley its sayng that C cannot touch 78.6 fib retracement so in this case we can eliminate Gartley but we still have potencial ABCD and if price closes between 61.8 and 78.6 will be a valid aggressive C entry? Is that right?

Hi,, it's the B leg and not the C that cannot touch the 78.6 ratio
Note: The AB move remains valid as long as there is at least a 61.8% retracement of XA and that it doesnot touch or come close to the 78.6% retracement of XA.

Stopped in to find a bit of everything. Even some arguing. Not happy about that. I have not moved on an needed some time to let you all have some chart time and I have been very busy working with my students, life and business.

I see many posts asking if this is a valid this or valid that. What are your thoughts on this? I would like for you to tell me why you feel is is or is not valid and also to consider the context of structure and order flow when considering a pattern or trade. Patterns are not the only opportunities we trade. Confluence is tradable!

We are traders and we have to be market technicians that understand order flow and price action. The losing days of waiting for that special dot or squiggle line to do this or that have to be behind you. We are empowered traders and as such we have to know how to read and forecast properly. This will bring you from the shadows most traders live in and propel you closer to profitable trading.

As traders we must always have an expectation on price. We must consider the context of price to structure and have an expectation as to what price is likely to do next. One of the most important questions we can ask ourselves is "What does this mean?". Based on this conclusion we can then have an expectation on price behavior and forecast a future path.

The pattern is not the focus and they are certainly not alway tradable. A pattern completion is similar to an indicator. An indicator provides a lagging signal to a potential trading opportunity. The problem is that the majority of traders don't see it as a potential trade setup and view it as a clear cut entry and thus fail because of the inability to recognize the proper strength or weakness affecting the trade. The patterns we look for as well as areas of confluence are non lagging signals of potential trading opportunities that must be qualified through proper analysis.

Thanks for clarification i just started to learn those. So it would be a valid aggressive C if price does not touch 78.6 but closes between 61.8 and 78.6?
