xlitang, since I trade M1 for me the H1 situation is even more important than H1 trend. So if I see, for example, a nice, good, big H1 pinbar and the M1 looks right, I would enter against the trend.

Babon-B is for the exits. If the price moves so-so, we enter when it crosses the black line (TMA M1). If the trend is good, we wait until the price crosses the yellow line (TMA M5). If the trend is very good, we exit when the price crosses the red dotted line (TMA M15).

We also watch two important patterns that include those lines, I described those patterns in the posts #1085 and #1146.

I couldn't trade for three hours because of BOJ, but then I felt it was more or less safe if you follow the rules, and I took +50 pips in just one trade. But, of course, we have to be even more careful, than usual, for the rest of the week. Fortunately tomorrow is a Non-Farm Friday, so I wouldn't trade tomorrow at any case.

But I'm glad that happened right before the Non-Farm Friday, so probably next week things will be back to normal, at least for us, the M1 traders.

Morning everybody.
Question for Favourite:
Before the last weekend you said you would post about patterns on 1H and 4H TFs during the weekend. I went through the posts of the weekend and did not see any posts about such patterns. Did I miss the posts (actually, there are so many posts that small wonder sometimes you miss important things) or have you decided to post about these patterns sometime later?

Thanks and let me tell you that you are really doing excellent job for the benefit, I am sure, of so many people. So that they do not need to load oranges in barrels in their spare time.

I entered almost the same trade as you, except i don't why we don t have the same chart. Your candle at 7h33 is above ichi cloud when mine is in the cloud.
Im wondering why, since i use the same template. Any idea ?

Page: 1622 - THV system, final edition
Kumo cloud standart setting ichimoku is 9,26,52....is good for TF M15 or higher to confirmation the trend..
but scalping in TF M1 and M5 very good setting standart THV is 2,5,8..

You're right, I never posted H1 patterns. The problem is - I'm not sure whether the participants need them at all! You see - those are not the trading patterns, those are "the big picture patterns", so to speak. Right now every trader looks at the H1's big picture his own way and it seems to work. If I post my H1 patterns people would have to change their H1 views and I'm not sure that this would make their M1 trading better, on the contrary - it can make it worse. I mean "if it ain't broken - don't fix it!"

Hi toinou21!

We're talking about something like 1-2 pips difference (I think mine is appr. 1 pip above the cloud), so it just depends on the broker, no big deal really. Different brokers can have difference 1-2 pips on the same M1 candle from time to time, it is normal.

I told you I would keep you up to date, well it's broken on any computer the problem is at my broker.

I have 1 group of currencies that have no "m" if I use these the spread goes crazy from 1.9 pips to 12 pips.

For the last 10 months I compared to the standard Ichimoku settings at least five different sets of settings, I don't even remember all the figures, but I do remember that I couldn't find the set of settings that is really much better than 9, 26, 52. The way I look at it: if it ain't broken - don't fix it!

The problem with the smaller settings - they give much more false signals. You can try 2,5,8 and you'll see what I mean.
