Been holding a nzdusd long since march 18 This pair was never to be shorted over a day, you can scalp shorts but the trend is up on monthly and weekly Gave me a great entry to long at 0.8264, still holding to it Sl moved to be+50, will gradually move it higher, Loving those positive interest swaps holding long on this pair though {image}

Update to the recent post, today we see a further thrust into the swing high zone, we may also have broken the potential resistance at 0.8440, expect price to consolidate around this area until the next move could be seen, would sure love to see it make its way to the high of 0.85 and if willams % range suggest theres further space to move up, then the top of the channel will be my target. {image}

you know there floats a rumor that 8500 is being guarded due certain power does not wants the NZD being to strong, not a official statement since they dont want to intervene. but history proofed itself.

I am sure I am the black sheep shorting this pair. Short. 8440 8400 8390 8380 8375 8370 currently in the red but positions are open. Traders going long here are "retail traders" usually get in the train after their 10+indicators say buy problem is 80% or 90% move is done and going long here is pointless and risky. I will go long once price is below 82 but not here.

Well davit, im not longing up here... if you read i longed down at 0.8250 i wouldnt recommend longing now but overall longing on the NZDUSD is the safer bet due to the longer term trend. i am fully aware that anytime the RBNZ can come out to say they'll intervene and NZDUSD can dip 200 pips but im already well secure since im BE+120 SL on my long trades from 0.8250

fxtyrant, Ohh man you took my comment deep, I totally agree with you with every word, just pointed out a rumor not that we should care about it as long as the PA and prices do catch up on certain levels. Was not referring in anyway to your trading style / positions . Just the rumour keeps spinning in my head and looking at your chart reminded me of it If I had a position like yours I would probably do the same or at least hedge it time to time to protect profits or scale out and in again at certain levels of interest. In general I am a day trader...

ah then yea, you and i are very different, im quite the Daily/Weekly trend trader, aiming for 100+pips per trade..... and i trade across multiple pairs, even exotics and crosses... but for me its more of a mechanism to calm myself down... before when i trade intraday/daytrade like you for 30 or so pips, news events and NFP piss me off everytime especially when i try to figure out why the numbers are messing up with my trades... so i prefer to trade higher time frames.... if ur method works then congrats buddy but yea it seems like 0.8450 is holding...
