Here was a trade this morning for over 2% on EU. I have suffered plenty of loss getting back into the M1 swing though. On my way however. Cheers!

Paul, I can't say whether GBPCHF is good for Babon (never traded it), but you have a very nice trade here. Seeing "TMA beyond Ichimoku cloud" you could wait until the yellow or red line, but you did pretty good!

What do you think of these 2 trades? (the dashed line is the daily pivot, I find that and S/R quite useful for key levels too)

Hi jonnypants!

I think both entries are good, if I entered - after seeing the pattern "TMA M1 beyond Ichimoku cloud" I would go for the yellow line.

As to the daily pivot and S/R I find that TMA H1's borders and TMA H4's centerline show better picture IMHO.

A little confused by your answer to jonnypants as distance to yellow tma5 was barely 10pips, thought this was a no trade as not enough distance or am I talking rubbish as usual.

Johnnypants, I also passed on that trade with USD news at 10. Fav, do you pay attention to news release or no? I thought I read that you stay out of market for 30 minutes before high impact news.

GEOFFREY62, I and jonnypants are talking about the entries he marked with the red lines. I was not watching at the time and TMA M5 could repaint a little bit but right now what we see at the picture in both cases the distance is approximately 15 pips.

Do you mean you watched and it was less than 10 pips?

capstone, I didn't watch EURJPY not because of the news but because I already made my daily goal.

As to the news: I don't pay any attention to most of the so called "red" news. I pay attention to Non Farm, Unemployment Claims, big meetings and important press-conferences only.

And today's "10:00 ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI" - no big deal, doesn't matter IMHO.

Good point capstone, the candle spike down at 14:00 UTC was probably caused by the news.........
Check your charts again Gentlemen, looks like could have gone short again at 14:38.......:nerd:

Yes, that last candle was news on your chart. Also, I did enter at 14:37, but did not stay with it. Left with only 1.5 pips, which is about 0.33%. Should have stayed with it. Oh well.

jonnypants, I don't want to argue because every trader has his own look at the "high impact news", but I can assure you that "ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI" is not one of them and that if we pay attention to all "red" news - we just can't trade at all. What I mean - if the several last times "ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI" didn't make any difference, don't you think that today it is just a coincidence?

About those large trades: if I see that the price can go to the TMA H1 I can stay in the trade for 30-50 pips, but not longer.
