DislikedHere's how I am playing this bar. First chart is entry at the close, s/l above the beob...my reasons for entering were, strong close of a huge bar (engulfed numerous bars), and close below what I saw to be a significant PPZ. I had my first target in purple (below the BRN), but I decided to keep the trade open when it reached the target and had a decent close. Second chart shows where I moved my stop (slightly worse than B/E but most of the risk is covered).
I still have my stop in that same place after the week's close so that I can see...Ignored

Hi, i only wanted to ask a question
After one of PA-Setups we look for happens, do you usually enter at:
a.- the open of next bar
b.- 10pips after high/low (depending of direction) of the setup
c.- You apply fib on next bar and wait to enter on retracement fro better position (even if it means to loose some trades?
I now these are the ways you can enter, i only wanted to know which you you realized to be more effective in general since you`ve traded it longer than me.
Also a question to option c. Do you wait for the possible retracement to happen i the next bar? Or can it also be in next X bars?
Thanks a lot, im trying to organize information to follow your steps. I hope this questions dont bother you...

Jim (J16) usually says a PA setup is not valid until broken.
So the most conservative way would be to enter on the break of the setup, including a buffer as you mentioned.
Then Jim (Jarroo) used to say that a high quality setup is a high momentum setup, meaning it has to break hard without looking back...
Then people tend to enter on a retracement, either before the break (more aggressive) or after the break (theoretically less probable in case of "high momentum" setups).
Regarding retracements, people consider OB retracing rather to 50%, and PB either to the left eye (generally ~20-30%) or to 60%. Keeping in mind the obvious other PPZ that can be within the setup...
In all honesty, I started demoing by playing retracements, and I just gave up - too much information for my little brain...

I wouldn't just take trades just because of ppz. I would need some sort of PA confirmation.

I'm pretty new to this so just wanted to get people's thoughts on this potential setup. Minor fakey on GBP/AUD weekly off a weekly support level. Bit of space to run to FTA. Have a buy order on the break of the fakey/pin bar with a stop loss at the end of that bar.

Jarroo I have seen a summary of your method by others. I have never seen YOU direct anyone to a resource or link or summary that explain your system inside out. I am looking to combine your system with J16. I understand J16 clearly and am trying to practice it now. J16 is easy, patience/greed/fear is hard. I have also been reading about your system, but my understanding is not clear. I have too many questions. Is there a good source/or summary of your method that you can direct us to? Thanks!

Just looking for some comments/ideas on this chart. Would anyone be looking to take this as a long trade? PBT&CA HCR with a BUOB and has since retraced back to HCR. Currently price has not closed below the HCR or the %50 Fib or below a trendline but did close below .99 BRN and the last bar was rather undecided. Another reason I have uncertainty is that PA on the H4 doesn't seem to respect HCR. I'm not sure how valid the Fib points that I used are or how valid the trendline is that I drew. Looking at the weekly chart, however, if price breaks...
Very clear . . . Resistance . .PBT&CA . .turns into Support . .on the Daily . .nice . .
I like that you're looking for confluences that line up with your level with that Fib ret. . .very important. The more confluences with our level the better. . . as James16 would say, "we want multiple reasons (confluences) to enter a trade . ."
Price is dealing with those targets (Daily Highs in blue) right now.
I would like to see clearer Signatures on the 4 hour as you said ..so that would not be good for me. . .but its a cross pair and they do tend to be choppy . . .damn you crazy crosses . .
This one will be fun to follow . .we'll follow the Close of Price on the Daily and see where this pair wants to go.
