OK...back thomsom IFR WATCH has trade suggestions I can tell when to watch out for those weekly or so spikes ...and by going on the ifr watch suggestion, I can get us with-in two pips of the expected reverse level. as if inside info....say no more.

Right now I saw just "get long"...their stop on the usd/jpy is 93.18....long at 94.00.
I'll keep a watch....once a week, usually....on the famous GBP/JPY even.

Here ya go...what I left ya with was not good enough....I'll tell ya how to see for yourselves, "IFR WATCH" used be a link on FXCM tradestation....10 years ago....then they took it off....two years ago Oanda.com (brokers ) added it to their news button on the dealing platform!....

ifr watch by tompsoms....or however you spell it....gives their current interday or shorter trades on 25 pairs.

If I recall correctly too, IF you get stopped out, you usually are with a positive +XXpips anyway or BE?

and when they are not in a trade on say the GBP/JPY...they give a price level to enter a trade and a stop, and their reasoning behind it.

And I do have large targets.. I have been making a point that I trade and hold... I get stoped out a lot near my entries since I look for major trends and I try to get in at the best price I can even if that means getting stopped out a lot.


Maybe I should just come back when targets are reached.

I try for BE or slight +at worse. I do get stopped for small 10-15 pip losses quite often as well but I manage position size well.

so I'm saying once a week one can trade a spike....if one is watching when it goes, it's a trading method all to itself if someone wanted to watch alot....tompsons entry levels are with-in two pips all time....from 170 pips to 140 pips away. As if you could just set entry orders!! by what they post on their world-wide site.

That's an art I need to learn. I tolerate too much of a drawdown. I rationalize it with this pair given the large swings in price. As you said with managed position sizes 10-15 pips isn't bad.

So why the heck do you want to quit your job? This is definitely an extremely passive trading style. What are you going to do with all that time?

I have my own auto detailing business as well.... I plan on investing my money in forex.. Its a boring style but fits my goals accordingly..

Yes Vivid Details , trying to get all exotic and higher end clients, but need to move to a little nicer area...
