Hi All

Can anyone point me to an MT4 EA or indicator that will close my positions out at the close of the daily candle? My broker is FXPro and it closes at 5pm EST. I am asleep at this time in Asia. Hope there exists such a thing.

The following way may not be the most efficient code.....but if you are looking to close all trades at the beginning of the 00 hour candle....this will do it.

Here you go...


If (Hour() == 0 && Minute() < 2 && OrdersTotal() > 0 && OrderType() == OP_BUY)

{OrderSelect(0,SELECT_BY_POS,MODE_TRADES);

OrderClose(OrderTicket(),OrderLots(),Bid,5,Green);}

If (Hour() == 0 && Minute() < 2 && OrdersTotal() > 0 && OrderType() == OP_SELL)

{OrderSelect(0,SELECT_BY_POS,MODE_TRADES);

OrderClose(OrderTicket(),OrderLots(),Ask,5,Yellow);}
That's brilliant. Thanks very much. But how would I put that code into an EA for use in MT4? I have been researching but haven't managed it yet. Thanks again!

This should work I believe.

You simply would open another chart and apply the ea to it...just click and drag. Time frames should not matter. When your MT4 time shows 00:00 0r 00:01 it will begin to close any trades that are still open....and should not stop until all trades are closed.

Just add the Close Trades ea to your experts folder. Then restart your mt4...then click and drag the ea onto a chart.

hello, sorry for my bad english

could you make the EA close SELL position if the close daily candle is ABOVE certain price? with option for half or full position close?
vice versa with the BUY position, close half or full position if the price is BELOW certain price.
