4-6 months ..... If we reach that level I will take off half and start buying dips for a 2nd target of 180 which is the 50% fib from the 2007-2012/13 fall....

Do you think the price will open with a gap ? Another question does the problem of Cyprus can effect gj ?

It sure affected it on last week's opening. Gapped down. Not sure about this week. The yen right now seems to be holding tough, but methinks that will change once Kuroda and company get going. The yen has yet to fall, imo. I've heard speculation in the 250s... in years, but it's beginning now. We have such an opportunity in these early stages. Cyprus was over blown... Once the dust settles yen will continue to descend... We could be looking at another consolidation, ranging week ahead. All imo of course.

In the mean time I have my eye on that fitch downgrade which seems inevitable. But that will only, imo, have limited stopping power against the plummeting yen, much like the stopping power a bb gun has toward a locomotive.

My financial adviser at my bank who handles my wire transfers and paper work etc... Said that He is so short on japan right now that if it would turn around at this point he would go bankrupt hahah. He sees dollar trading back around the old 240 highs from the 80s. I am not that bullish, I just want my 2500 pips

Yea, it's always nice to hear that hahah. I just wish I had the capital to handle the drawdowns that could and will occur during the next few years :/
There are even mini downtrends within strong uptrends, thats where the big boys come out ahead, for them to be down 300-400k is not a big deal for them.

Hi Guys....I was looking for something else when I noticed GBPJPY and decided to have a look....
I have traded this, on and off, for many years....but reading your posts, I'm sure you are not aware of the mechanics of the pair....and this is crucial, otherwise it will crush you...this I promise....Firstly...GBPJPY DOES NOT move by its self, the price of GBPJPY is a product of USDJPY and GBPUSD...just multiply the two and you will be on the way to understanding the pair...take a look at these examples...

1.5230 X 94.46 = 143.86...adding 100 pips, first to one pair, then to the other...

1.5330 X 94.46 = 144.80 (0.94718)

1.5230 X 95.46 = 145.38 (1.52558)

1.5330 X 95.46 = 146.34 (2.48018)

Therefore, if price on both GBPUSD and USDJPY move up 100 pips each, then the price of GBPJPY will move up 248 pips, or by a multiplying factor of 2.48 ...this results in the violent moves that we experience....as you can see, if it is only the GBPUSD going up...forget it (0.95)...if it is USDJPY going up alone, then the multiplyer is 1.53, roughly.
If it is USD news that affects the USD component alone.....then price on GBPJPY will go sideways..

If you fail to recognize the mechanics, this pair will crush you, this, I promise......
I have a 1m GBPJPY, GBPUSD 1m, USDJPY 1m...and 15m on all 3......
EMA and SMA for 50, 100, 200...and I have a 750ema on the 1m charts (this is the 50ema from the 15m!!!!)..on my 1m charts, it is possible to have a dotted line of GBPUSD 1m and USDJPJ 1m on my GBPJPY chart...a 20sma is also handy on the 1m GBPJPY.
Oh, I have a 12 momentum, with 3 turbo superimposed on top....watch for an early move of the 3 on the 1m.


Sorry if I come over as a know all, but I try to spread the benefit of my experience, most of it expensively acquired....lol ...good trading folks.
