There are several ways to reduce it, change the colours or eliminate it altogether. Just read the relevant posts. All the info is there. This is a self help thread. Actually, if you read the thread you will also see screenshots of the info panel in multi-ple different configurations.

Hi Altos,

Just a question. Do you enter those BO at the buffer line break or wait for the first candle to close outside? I've been trading in demo this wonderful system for some weeks and my rules are to wait allways to the close, but I see that sometimes those big candles get me hesitating what to do. Have you any special way to manage with this?

Thanks in advance

And thanks Forexhard, reading the hole thread is been well worth (and I'm not only meaning about the system, this is a great FOREX school for anyone...)

My entries are not at this time strictly by the book, which is a nuisance. I am using EasyOrder to set up pendings on the CZ box but the CZ box can change in size and so sometimes my entries are not actually where the box says. I used to have better results if I baby sat the entries and some pairs would/don't enter until maybe a three bar close outside the buffer line. This is a problem when trying to automate because a Trade Manager cannot, afaik, enter on the third bar close and so to use Easy Order my box has sometimes moved away from where I had earlier set the pendings. It is not by much but it is a nuisance because it throws the numbers out on the stats panel. You will find your results can be quite different using 1,2, 3 or more closed bars. The only way to handle it is to find the sweet spot settings and stick with it religiously but as I say, that could be 1,2,3 or more closed bars outside the buffer line. I am trying to find the "sweet spots" with 0 bars close outside, then my orders will be by the book and the stats correct.
Sometimes there is slippage also and the entry may be outside where you expect but that is a broker issue.

I have no idea where this CZ you speak of is, nor the meaning of your yellow channel, nor the source and/or version of the indicator you are using.

730 days = 2 years? ... that means your broker has Saturday AND Sunday candles.

Should have erased the yellow lines.
The purple lines show the upper and lower range of the CZ. Pip and bar range can be seen on the left. But as i look at the image i see i haven't shown the price levels...

Juan,

Fxhard has said the best settings are 100 days back because beyond that the data from the broker may not be as reliable etc. He said backtest 100 days then with those setting forward test 100 days. Then you will have a concrete experience of the results.

Also the markets change all the time, there is never going to be some universal setting that can be used for all time into the future.

Ben
