not sure if that is exactly news... we've known since day one that this has been the case. I've wondered if the yen has already been priced in while anticipating Kuroda and co's QE.

I guess not if it moved 30 on a mere rumor...

Yea, I had a few pm's about how people said thanks because they followed a few trades that I had, enough of that... Brought back from $48 to $98 in the last 2 weeks, and I am massively positioned now long on all yen pairs, plan on holding for the year and maybe get my 10k goal hahahah, But might as well it was only $300 let it rideeee

Priced in or not, as soon as traders hear Aggressive Easing come out of his mouth the yen pairs will go crazy, for a lonnngggg time. Why do you think we have been consolidating for the last 5-7 weeks and not dropping?

I was able to regain most of the losses from my earlier stupid move from the margin call on the drop. Good day overall. Hopefully more to come for all! Still long.

And given the past 8 months fall, that's what I wonder as well. Funny it can't seem to break the 50% of the entire rise from September 2007...eh?

It's at a place it can either way in my book so it's just a question of what they "really" plan to do. As I've said I don't pretend to understand fundamentals enough but it sure is interesting.

I totally agree. I've never understood the concept of "priced in," anyway. As soon as new news comes - screw what is priced in. The markets react.

Try not to let the margin calls happen again! Can't tell you how many times I had to learn that the hard way, amazing at how many times it takes you to realize things... build winners cut losers, I also hold over the weekend since I buy and hold 70% of the time, I just cut positions before fridays end in case of a Terrible sunday open. And if they do drop sunday I just reload from there as long as the main trend has not reversed.

Absolutely Bob. It is not a fun time when you see that happen. One culprit here for me: greed. Ugly greed.

I got cocky, went long, big and wouldn't you know - Cyprus and I saw an entire week of profit disappear in a second as the markets opened.

Edit: Something I will definitelt implement as I too prefer to hold positions for several weeks.

I was looking for another low just below the 137.xx......but my sell 157.01 remark six weeks ago may be in play now as this this latest rise from 142.xx is a perfect A B C which is found in wave 3's.....

so 157.01 sell......led by the Spirit, I swear.....If this is to be labeled a wave three......gents....it's a big wave three...to the 50% fibo extension....what is it 168.xx?


ETA....what...You guys noticed me....I've been counting the days till it takes off again......waiting for a buy at 205 pips below the 137.86......now the A B C looks sweet. my cycle count was waiting for tuesday....so I was off giving the pair from hail a rest, remember what God told me..."the pound yen is your friend".....can ya see, it's all a God thing to my thinking. he he


one more ETA......the A B C waves are found in wave 3's and "C" waves

Yep I have had 163-68 as my target since Feb...

Greed is my worst enemy as it is many traders/investors. There is a fine line between greed and letting winners run. I have the date and massive amount that I lost on my worst day, Recall it as if it was yesterday. That is written on my dry erase board everyday in bright red.... Seems to help me never make that mistake again hahahah

Mine was 4k up to 3k down, in a week... yes a 7k swing... kept thinking... it'll turn, it'll turn. stupid, stupid, stupid.

pennies to some, but to me, not so much!

Yeah, that's what pisses me off. FF needs to give more options to lock down your trades in terms of privacy, but still show the results. I think a lot of the better traders would open up their explorers if they did.
