I have checked your trade list. There are 4 losing positions, and 3 of the positions are closed in less than 100 pips. As you have mentioned before, you put 100 pips as SL. So may i know how you exit the 3 positions? You are supposed to exit the position either in profit or 100 pips SL right?

Can you clarify this?

simply, i've made enough gain, so closed something negative,
it's not a problem lose some dollars, if you gained a lot..

my strategy is managing money, not showing i'm always correct!

Em... understand now. Do you have target/amount to be earned for each day because you trade only 2 times per day?

edit: sorry for asking this question, I just want to know how you could turn a losing position into better case, meaning to say if you don't close it, you might suffer 100 pips SL, since you said you have enough green pips for the day.

Yes. I can imagine that. He earn his target then he stop it. This is absolutely good to avoid over trading, and might get worst result if letting losing position run.

Very nice DNA! We're both wishing this was a real $1000 account about now :-)
It shows the possibilities of a small account though you wouldn't want to hold positions over the weekend with a small account. Imagine the margin call if it went against your position. Better to start over every monday & stick to the max. losss of 100% of the account.
I've been watching & thinking about running a demo with a SL-50 & TP-8. Seems most trades wouldn't get stopped & that way a loss will only remove 50% of the account. Just thinking about different ways to modify your method with the highest probability of success.

could i suggest you to take smaller TP?

many times, waiting for a 8 pips TP, you can do 3 trades with 3 or 4 pips TP,
and a smaller TP is possible to hit within few minutes

Thanks for the advice. You're probably right. Going for 8 is too much of a move where 3 pips could get hit just with "noise".

I agree, and I think the simpler we do it - the better. I like your system and George's system, and I have a pretty complicated system myself, but for the purpose of this thread I would like to trade M1 with only one indicator (and, of course, paying attention to H1).

For example I think that trading EURJPY or GBPJPY with this direction line with the right settings (10) we can get at least 4 pips for most of the colour changes. I did pretty good both on Friday and today.

Yes, and I would like all active participants to suggest really simple, mechanical systems, then we would be able to find a very simple and effective decision.

I guess this is non lag MA indicator, right?

I think I will re-code it to output some statistical data in order to understand the average pips of trend goes into one direction. So that would be a good info for scalping by using high leverage.
