Hi, the FTA for me (1.0283) was too close, straight into all that resistance.

I'd be interested in an SFP of 1.0311, double top, nice V shape, back to the same FTA, 1.0300 could be a problem.

EDIT :no, not happening, looking at 1.0340 now.

I have my level marked at 1.3078. Averaging the highs/lows (thru naked eye).

But not gonna use a blind TT though, will prefer a PB or some sort of bearish PA here.

Best if price cuts through ATR top, and closes back below the level. Would make some sweet quick pips.

Hi, I would like to say thanks to Tom and all the contributors on this great thread. I am currently in catch up mode and was wondering if this is a proper SFP (sorry it’s a couple of days late). It has a higher high with the close lower that the previous swing high. Also is this presenting a potential RR around the .97300 area?

Hi, yes that was a nice Daily SFP which you could have traded as was, or you could have come down to the hourly and looked for an entry short, 0.9500 for example, but still looking for a D1 target.

Not sure if you meant 0.9730.... but 0.9370's looks like it could get a bounce yes. I like 0.9330 too.

Hello Joe,

I would put the level a little higher, only 2 touches there prior to breakout. It has also been retested which counts strongly against it.
You have the right idea though. Make sure you sign up to the free Sunday Webinars, it will reinforce everything shown in the thread.

Thanks Jim .... still working out how to properly determinewhere to place trendlines for appropriate levels any help would be appreciated.I am planning to sing up as soon as I get caught up in the thread.

Ok even though its a couple days hindsight on this example ... how would you have played this.... 1st on the daily .... setup on friday close...... enter off the daily on sunday night open? with stop around 50 and FTA around 80?

Or on the hourlychart… 1st ellipse marked late on a Friday using price… good pinbar setup but with weekend exposure …. 2nd price action BEOB 3 11 13 maybe enter on close with stop above high made on 3 8 13 or additional 3rd ellipse pinbar setup on 3 12 13 with same stop … but all are still above the marked breakout line ......which shows a long breakout trade on many other systems…..vs. the obvious SFP short… again still learning …. I took the USDCHF trade on Monday morning (11.3.13) Sold at 9512, SL 50, TP 50. I sold at market with stop above Fridays high. Still learning. Can't attend webinars as I'm at GMT+7.

There was also a daily SFP on EUR/CHF on (8.3.13)
