141.00 didn't hold after failed test of 141.31. Maybe another run will do it. I don't want to spoil Mr Geppy's day but I think a better pair might be Usd/Jpy especially longer term.

Not sure about that. Have you seen the weekly UJ? Last time there was a hangman at this level she fell roughly 1800 pips. Last weeks hangman wasn't as big but.......?

I don't trade UJ but if I did, I might be looking short here. If nothing else, some correction is due me thinks.

EDIT: The indexes are at levels that could show a possible turn as well. I know everyone thinks the dollar is so strong but, I have less faith in it...lol

GJ showing teeth, for the sake of my longs I hope it will bite finally.

EDIT: US 10 Y t-notes are in downtrend on daily and today also in red which is good for yen bears ( JPY pairs buyers)

I've all but lost faith in the pound getting stronger anytime soon. If the YEN doesn't keep falling, I'm loosing faith in my GJ longs as well.

Thoughts?

Swiss bankpredicts thatcable will be at 1.4100 at year-end
Cable waslast @ 1.4100 in March 2009 (1.4228 = May 2010 low)
BoE cut Bank Rate to 0.5%&launched QEAPP in March 2009
BoEMPA tomorrow:QE or not QE, that is the question
Plosser looks to end USQE before year-end

Wow, talk about wretched PA!

I had the best night of sleep I've had in a long time, only to find we're virtually unchanged from where we were when I turned in.

Unreal.

Sterling is definitely weak today, but it hasn't put in new lows on the daily. In fact, it looks like it COULD be starting to try and put a base in. If so, a retracement to 1.55 and maybe higher isn't out of the question (that's about the 38.2% fibo) and just below 1.57 would be the 50% fibo.

For now, we're stuck in a tug-of-war and I'm not sure what will dislodge it this week (if anything).

US can't stop QE.

But if they did and the UK carried on. Cable will be at parity in no time.
