But anyway a bullish close in my opinion, tried many times to get below the 90 level today and buyers stepped right in. A lot of big economic factors this week and everyone is waiting for that...

But im a perma-bull till 160

And it should be. If this correction is over then we get 160 is no problem. 170 based on fibo levels on the monthly.

I am waiting for the 7:30 GDP data to come out for Aussie and if it's good I am going long Aussie and/or Kiwi at least for now.

I might ride it out for awhile, daily interest is an incentive too.

I might hop on the GJ train once we have a bullish signal on the Daily.

Actually, after thinking about this more ---

I am coming around --- we are about to see a Bullish 5/10 EMA Crossover soon on the Daily chart for GJ as well and she has a lot of room to run.

The last resistance area was 148 and we are at 141 now.

That's like 700 pips.

Whereas, Kiwi and Aussie are only a couple hundred pips from their highs.

Yep. And when the beast gets moving, she's hard to stop. Those 700 hundred pips can happen before you know it.

The best plan is to always be flexible with your bias. Right now, it seems like the thread is biased and positioned for more upside. But that could change tonight, tomorrow, etc.

This is tough because it looks like we might get that crossover this week not only for GJ but also EJ.

I got an itchy trigger finger right now. LOL.

Also if we get good news out tonight for AUD there will be a little spike.

Question: Does anyone know how Non-Farm Payroll affect the beast?

Basically, my question is if good news comes out for Non Farm Payroll is their usually an immediate rally for GJ?

This is always a common question/topic, although this thread was just in its infancy during the last NFP.

Keep in mind, NFP is a U.S. based number. That means, its effect is largely felt on USD based pairs: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD... you get the point.

So what happens if there's a good NFP number and the USD rallies? Well, GBP/USD would drop while USD/JPY would rise. The result is a "tug-of-war" in GBP/JPY that generally cancels out any violent moves.

Because of this, I generally don't worry about holding my positions in crosses like GBP/JPY through numbers like NFP.

I hope that makes sense, and I welcome any differing opinions/views.

UJ would get a nice spike and a weaker yen will pull the other crosses up with UJ
