I don't trade a "system" perse, but isn't that what you're supposed to do if you have hard-set rules? I mean, provided you don't use TPs and all...?

You have a good point Geppy.

But, for now I don't have hard set rules for when I get out of a trade.

Basically, only for when I get in.

Or I should say that my rules are more flexible for when I get out.

In any event, I think we'll see a bearish signal soon.

I am just waiting for the signal at this point not trying to predict anything.

I did not get a signal this time - next 4H candle will close at 5PM EST.

Until then... Nap time. lol

I guess that just seems incredibly odd to me. If you have rules for getting in, you should also have a rule for getting out. How else do you know when to get out? How do you know your "system" is actually working?

If you can't measure the average outcome, you really don't have a system... you have an entry signal and that's all.

What a good time to check out my positions pissed my EJ is lagging tho... Biggest position is uj then ej and then GJ, but all in green

LOL. Nah I like to keep an open mind and I hadn't thought of it like that. I don't normally trade using Volume but now I don't think I will at all!

By the way, got Long earlier today on a few JPY cross pairs and the timing couldn't have been better! First screen shot was taken taken about 15 minutes ago, the 2nd was taken about 4 minutes ago!

I'd really like to see some follow-through on this break though. Trading up into the .75 range (even for a bit) and then a retest of the 40/50 zone would be textbook.

Hey thanks Chris! The only way to succeed in this business is to keep an open mind and most importantly being honest with yourself when you make mistakes.


*Hopefully we are going to resume our weekly / monthly uptrend as I just got long on a few JPY cross pairs! Closed out my shorts from the last 2 days earlier today and then got long to "test the waters" as it looks like support was holding up. What better timing!
