Im using ECN and usually have spread on g/u as low as 0,5-0,8 during liquid times + some commision. Does not make difference for me.

i better open an account with ecn then. i use ig index based here in the u.k.. eu spread is usually 2 pips (never lower than 1 pip). gu spread is usually 3 pips. during london open, i have seen spread increase to 4 pips on both. not good.

do ecn allow multiple positions on the same currency ?

If you are asking about hedging, yes it;s allowed. You can open BUY and SELL at the same time.

But you know, spread is lower, but you have to pay comission.

Final cost is about 1,5 pips per trade during the day. Sometimes lower (0 or - spreads) or much more.

But i used to it, tried to play with MM but its not for me.

It gets harder and harder to trade.

Check this out: Bernanke speech introduced by Consumer Confidence news. Not only the news whipsaw, but they fade out all his speech. With all that noise impossible to enter after so the speech is untradable as well. Reminisce of the days a news used to go one-way. Disgusting bot-infected market.

I went long, so lost some.

Then went short and get some. Took 30 pips and run out.

This is real shit, bad reaction to good news. Where is the logic?

But, if trading would be so obvious we all would be millionaires.

But like Tony said, maybe some trading bots are responsible for this.

these digits don't seem real. I used to work a WHOLE year before to make 15k$ when I was young

I' m gettin really nervous about the digits. I have trouble holding a trade because I look at the account balance.

I really have to remove my account balance and deal with % !

I get out of a trade cause it represents a few K$ but holding it is worth so much more. I ' m getting real nervous about this.
