No, i am not a programmer, but i am trying to be.
Tips for you, understand those EA carefully, meaning to understand how the EA manipulate the orders and the concept. You will eventually build/tweak the system into your own profitable EA.

This is swb grid 4.1 EA

Test for only year 2004 with the use of indicator Bollinger band, stochastic and RSI
Take some time for the test. Very slow.

Test from year 2004 to 2005 for 1 minutes time frame.
Please note this is decompiler code.
Equity encounters some major drawdown during the test.

scaling up and down like there's no tommorow

EDIT : with the right settings you could probably profit with this.. takes a couple months on the 1h to profit +1000

decompiled code is usually not posted for a couple reasons...... it's also quite risky to use unless you have restored it back to normal so you can verify it is written correctly step by step letter by letter......h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

yes i understand.. it's not compiled.. it's raw code.

I think default setting would be better for all time frame. I just have some minor test for time frame H1, M15 & M1, all have the same good result.

Yup, i am not sure where i got this EA, these are my collection.
Think someone may reveal the raw code.

yes it has very good results.. but DD seems to be 100%


but DD doesn't seem to happen until we are in profit, so it's good

Weird. I don't see it has major drawdown curve during the test, but it show at the report page nearly 100%

yes.. however you won't get DD until you are in profit. do you have any EMA crossover EA's ?

Doesn't matter when you get DD.

A DD is calculated on the current balance so Initial Balance + Profit ... So with a 100% DD your profit is gone and you should be very close to margin call!
