i wouldnt recommend making an ea until you can trade it yourself. ive already went the ea route, and it doesnt work because humans , and i know mr pip does this (price action), use discretion (so its not all by the rules)... for example, cowabunga was profitable, but the same ea sort of got trashed during the same time period ...and cowabunga is about as mechanical as you can get, much more mechanical lthe mr pips rules... even fi its only giving you ideals, identifying swings with zigzag and stuff doesnt work too well...

For anyone who is interested, this is how am i developing rsi into the system. Basically, rsi lets you determine certain structures and patterns that arent as easy to see on the price chart. It helps me determine how price interacts with structure (via momentum) - price action. notice that price didnt even come close to the 9:00 bar, yet rsi showed momentum touching the bottom side of the momentum for the 9:00 bar.

i think mr pip is done guys, I've been doing some searching I've found a website which is forum based called TradingArsenal.com without the www.

its forum based and full of harmonic traders time to step out on our own guys mr pip gave us the foundation the rest is up to us. you can take the horse to the water but you cannot get him to drink it

Butterfly traded this morning on AUDUSD TP1 Hit all at BE now. There is one also completed on H4 if you trade longer TF's

Hello Traders,

Just stopping in to say say hello and to also say that I have been very busy with work life and family. I left you all to develop and practice to skills I have taken the time to show you. To my disappointment I have found a mess. How can you sharpen your skills if you keep making changes and trying things what are not a part of anything. I almost have lost the will to keep posting as it has been very discouraging to see what this thread is becoming. The rules were sinple clean charts no indicators. Price action and harmonics. Consistency is the secret here guys. If you want to learn you have to keep on working at it and stop adding things that are not a part of this and do not work. In my absence I expected sharper skills from practice and this has not been the case.

So where do we go from here? This is exactly why some really good threads with valuable content parish. I will be montoring in the days to come and it is up to you to clean our house up and get back to basics. This is our house and it is our responsibility to keep it clean and organized. Get to work give me a reason to continue our journey.

Hello all,
Trades today, net 18 pips. Im trying to master general harmonics with price action, not the specific rules, hope mr pip doesnt mind ... if so i will stop posting, i believe I have gotten alot out of this thread already, mr pip has been more than generous and it is his thread ....

Mr. Pip,

I understand your frustration, although what you are attempting to do here is very admirable. And IMO, if you teach it, it improves your own skills.

I can understand that it could take a lot of time to monitor and correct people, but perhaps in the interest of teaching, I would suggest just posting one example per day to help people learn and keep them on track.

Yes, people need to be disciplined and practice, but from what I have seen here, people are willing to put in the time and effort, they are just new.

It would be a shame if such a good idea and thread were to perish.

Hi MR PIP, many thanks for your reply. I've read all the stuff in this fantastic thread and I agree with you.
We all have to stick with the original rules.
I'm trading for 2 years with alternate results and can't make more than a BE, I think your teachings are so good and clear. The only thing I noticed on your system and I've an issue with, is the subjectivity of swings. Even if Fibos are not subjective, the way we can draw it are personal, and every one of us can draw it from different points (not wrong, just different).

The only thing not subjective on swings is the use of fractals (e.g. let's pick a fractal with a lower fractal before and a lower fractal after it, as a start of the swing). Do you think I can benefit from this? If not, How can I address the subjectivity issue?

You have a valid point Scott, I will do that. But to the vertertans here please help keep thing on track. I don't want anyone to stop posting however the decision has to be made by the trader whether they want to learn this or not for the most part I do see the willingness to learn and the effort by most. But repeating these skills over and over again is what will make you learn them not bouncing around adding concepts and removing other without and validation or reason other and not putting in the required effort and screen time to learn it. Enough said.

In your experience which is the best timeframe to trade with for me?

Hi everybody,, i really appreciate what few of you are trying to do experimenting different ways of trading the patterns, but please can we just keep this thread running the way Mr Pip likes it to be after all most of us joinned this thread to learn his system and it will be a waste to upset his approach and loosing his expertise for good. and for anyone else with any sort of trading ideas could i kindly suggest you starting your own thread. so please and please again STICK to Mr PIPs rules without modifying it. Thanks

RIGHT WITH YOU MR. PIP. I have not be able to take in thread due to work and life but as I popped in and in your absence I saw it morph into something unrecognizable. I knew for me in order to understand your teaching I had to move to higher timeframes which allowed me to take my time and watch things develop. There was too much "trying lets see what happens" approach so I opted to say out the conversation because I did not want a clouded view of the method. Hope things get back on track. I am not bashing anyone! Unfortunately we have been programmed to take very simple rules and make them to difficult. It has taken me this long to understand that people don't know who they are personally, what type of trader method that suits there lifestyle personally so inevitably people start adding there touches on things that don't need messed with. In the last 6mths-1yr I have taken more time reading about psychology to define who I am as a trader and a method that suits me. Believe it or not EVERY trading system works on this forum but you have to align who you are up to a particualr method. Once both are aligned then it will work.

the 100 tick chart will probably give you 1 or 2 opportunities per day in 1-2 hours
