As can be seen, price has not yet reached the end of the impulse (@ 31.19) or the fib cluster that lies at the end of the impulse. So, therefore if it goes up, I would be willing to utilize the new impulse that formed from 37.59 to 31.19 in order to project a lower turning price.... And since it hasnt even spiked to end of impulse, I wont be trading this now... .Doesnt mean it wont go up alot or im missing something, but that was what i was looking at.....

E/U 25-Feb H1 chart, have earlier Short entries that hit SL.

All entries based on M15 or M5, not H1.

Then saw the bigger Main Swing Down from 20-Feb till 22-Feb, and price retrace up on 25-Feb to around 62%, and took another Short that covered all the SL plus extra pips for a win of 100-Pips run down.

Exit earlier as did not want to leave it overnight in my time zone after a 100-pip run down already, and price went down further 130-pips on today 26-Feb so far.

This E/U H1 chart show a clear Short-C around 62% on a longer Main Swing down.

I got so frustrated with those trends today on the tick chart trying to catch a reversal i decided to go kamikaze bwahaha good thing its only a 10$ account ....

That a good day for me, earlier i taked short at 1.3300 because of the fib' retracement but my TP was too soon at 23.6 of the fib' :/

We should creat a team with only harmonics trade and share what we see in the market if we identify a Harmonic ! Actually i'm long at 1.3070 because movement was to strong and and he should back !

Hey there guys,

I want to share with you (after this post) a diagram I made based on Mr. Pip's ratios. I know he has only discussed the ABCD and Gartley, but he also attached the other patterns too: Butterfly, Crab and Bat. We don't know what the rules of engagement for those patterns are yet, but hey, we could try out how things run.

I don't know how you guys are approaching your trades, but I believe there are two ways of doing it. One would be if you go back and check the last couple of swings and see if some targets have been reached. That itself is great since you are qualifying a possible PRZ.

But, wouldn't be nice if you had been there when all that pattern formation took place? So the second approach would be to recognize when to trace our AB line (the main swing of the current price which is originating the dominant swing), and then continue with the process of qualify/disqualify patterns Live.

Something like this:

- If price only retraced to 382AB-500AB and then continue to 618BC-786BC we are infront of a possible Bat Pattern. Besides, if we take and Agressive trade there, chances are that we will be reaching the original 618AB anyway.

One thing you'll notice in the two pictures that I'll show you is that if the AB retracement went all the way to the 786AB-886AB, an agressive trade there would only reach the 382BC-500BC (according to the butterfly pattern).

So, the idea is to have all the Patterns "merged" on a single diagram to be capable of taking advantage of the aggresive trades during the pattern formation.

It'd be great if we write the definite conditionals to qualify the distinct patterns and to know which of them are no longer valid when price is moving forward.

What motivates me in doing this is the premice of this thread: keeping our trades simple, indicators free (that doesn't mean not programming anything based especifically on the patterns).

Any comments?

Yep... I'm looking at turning this into an EA. Simple rules make it easy. XA and AB legs are relatively easy to define with the use of zigzag. Not perfect but it works. You can run all patterns with multiple trades in either direction(Except AB=CD is difficult). Defining PRZ is the biggest issue. For now It's going to be a hybrid EA. It will monitor and let me know of a potential trade pattern, then I can access and enter if I have a valid signal. Then once I enter is takes control and manages the trade per Mr Pips rules, ie move to BE once .38 is hit TP at .62 ect...

This should find me more opportunities and less screen time. I hope..... For now it's just a trial.

Hello, What do you suggest to do in this situation? Entry is on 78.6 of XA leg. PA goes down, a few pips above my SL, and then rally up, but my TP1 was a few pips above my entry. So I didn't breakeven trade and take a few pips TP without opportunity to go to TP2.

Just finished to read the WHOLE thread... Great one.
Have you got an idea why MR PIP's post became so discontinued? I think that this thread was a lot better when he actively partecipate with videos, analysis, opinions and teachings.
Where are you MR PIP we miss you...

You know I am rooting for you, but this action and thinking will prevent you from ever mastering forex. What if you had a $10M account, what would you do differently? Why is it okay to do something at one time and not another given same market, just different personal situation? You must master the market AND master yourself.

I am just about to complete 100 trades using the same methodology, I challenge you to do the same. Sorry to say it, but I would bet 100 pips you cannot.

This market will expose every one of your weaknesses (and mine). You have to beat the biggest, brightest, and richest players. You must overcome shady brokers. You must master your emotions. This is no game, it is war and you must have a battle plan.

Very well done. On the same quest here too, trying to build something out of these patterns, first an indi, then an EA. True, ZigZag or Swing ZZ are great for recognizing swings.

It will come thanks! i view this as a skill set (like dancing) that must be mastered, not as rules. the methodology is confluence and the skill set is identifying main/dominant legs and using those for confluence, with as little subjectivity as possible. It is not a war, it is a harmonic dance Good luck man!

Todays trades from 9:30 - 11:00 ...Could've done some others but i was uncomfortable with them, and Im trying to train my 'intuition' to be comfortable with them, take into account all info and thats all you can do..... Will review them to see how I could've been comfortable taking them....
