Thank you very much for the advice BorisViven:

I asked this question because in the first 200 posts do not mention the EMA 50, that's the main reason.

I will keep practicing.

Have a very good start of week.

Hi mate,

i recommended to you to read the first 200 pages, not 200 first posts !

for the 50 ema : on every TF it's nothing but the 10 ema on an higher TF (for ex 50 ema on M15 is 10 ema on H1)
so, you can choose to put the 50 ema on your 15min TF, or open also the H1 TF and put the 10 ema on it.

hope this helps

peace

a quick CT on EJ after london open
+23

be careful, it's not a perfect Master Arjun setup, and it's a counter trend trade, so i don't want to confuse anyone here

I cannot confirm the accuracy of this info, but the website here http://www.100forexbrokers.com/mt4forexbrokers
lists many MT4 brokers in various countries. Against some of them it shows a server time relative to GMT.

hi mate,

many reasons for me to take this one:
- price failed to cross the last h4 candle high for the 2 nd time
- timing was perfect : 15 min after london open
- price was below 10 ema on m5 and m15
- price was below RN 124.5
- there was enough room until h1 10 ema

my TP was at the H1 10 ema

hope this helps,
peace

Not entirely sure what you are looking for but if its for fibs, pivots, days open prev days high low then the pivots indi here http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=108544 has an adjustable start time. Just + or - the first setting to adjust to midnight gmt. If thats the reason and you are otherwise happy with broker you may not need to move. My broker is gmt +2 and I'm 100% happy with pivot settings for what thats worth.

EU 25 Feb:
In the EURUSD discussion forum, several members highlighted the EU weekly chart and pointed out the EU would be bearish. So it was SELL HIGH!
But then it is all about market reaction to fundamentals and macroeconomics.

About 10EMA, 50EMA and 200EMA ...and what type of trader are you?

A lot have been posted by members here but ultimately it is you who have to do your own back-testing and learn the market structure using these 3 moving averages.
We are discussing tradin in the 15M timeframe in this thread. You have to ask yourself this questions:
Are you a 15M scalper?
Are you a intraday trader?
Are you a weekly short term swing trader?
Until you are know and sure of what type of trader you are, you then decide to trade that TREND of the MOMENT. This is Price Action trading and not 10EMA and definitely not moving average trading.

To some traders, making 10~20pips per day sounds easy and is luring, but the fact is making 50 pips is much easier when you know the type of trader you are.

It is a money managerment game and it is not about how many pips you make in one day, or in one week, or in one month. It is a business to trade the market and make profits with your hard earned money aka your capital.

Trade Well!

I know it is hard work. I have been through that 25 years before retail trading become available online. I used to plot the moving averages on graph paper everyay after the stock market closed and my broker till fax the closing prices to me.
It cannot be anyb harder than that today when we all have fast computers and application software and tools to do the work for us.

Many things were posted here in this thread. Use the forum search feature and also that paper clip icon and look for previous posts with attachements.

You need to use both eyes and also the third eye which needs more training and develop the 20/20 vision for trading.

With several currency pairs showing huge weekend price gaps, that should be a warning that it is not a normal or regular market type we are trading.
We threfore look in our arsenal of skills to trade this sort of market type.

GBPUSD still have that huge gap which is not filled yesterday. What is your trading plan for this pair this week?
