i am not a long term trader, in fact i suck at anything bigger than +12

Yeap.... Another selfinflected wound in the UK.. Downgrade in the UK completed meaning, now we can finally found a short term bottom in Sterling. Agree, next a bit of US circus that IMO is going to end with BB turning down the anti QE comments and pumping equities when the bluff of budget cuts, etc is uncovered making equities rally to all time highs (the next leg whenever is confirmed is the one to all time highs for the headlines and the high of year in my books...)

On the TA side, after the downgrade, actively and v closely trackig 1.519x in cable for a decent retrace prolly until Q1 roll with plenty of air above. A break 1.533x this week will confirm key Monthly break down so only level to track. Holding that break opens a whole new map to the downside. Euro, nothing new, 1.318x needs to hold the M roll and without 1.331x taken there is no momentum up.

Gold keep forming a bottom so in consolidation range. A new test of last low is wide open TA wise but the play is fading to the other side in any failure. Nothing to see except alarms @ 160x.x. Oil looks nasty again with a M close below 96.1x so just tracking closely that close before taking a side. Equities finally aligned, Europe and US, both trading in wide chop zones on the highs just trying to find that final top in the swing. Tracking 151x in the ES for the M close as benchmark for the fade or / a final push to all time highs with US noise clear next week.

Awful entry due to being a busy man last night, but not too bad. 15 pip draw down for 140'ish pips. Still waiting for TP. I'm taking 50% here @ 3320 since it is the first line of resistance. I love the math associated with this game.

Not to shabby a way to start off the week.

Counter play should be nearing completion at the moment. Will wait for a change in pace or a break of resistance to make my next move.

Taking 1.331x first target. Aggressively trailing as Daily is not aligned with Weekly Yet and we have nothing without the M roll. Also on the FA is feeble and heavily dependent on Us Equities holding the US budget cut noise...

Nothing to do except wait ...like usual daily chart update from last week.

thx mate...

it was a decent setup just above key support with small SL possible

however....even with a small trade size , using 30 pip SL

and....ignoring 6 X 20 pip levels to take profit

just reminded me that i will never be a good long term trader

i like to use compounding with relatively low risk/tight stops

i leave the impressive long term trades to you guys

decent PA today helped but trading out of your comfort zone is not good

Lots of noise in the wires from Italy.... Italians seems to be shooting themselves in the foot and euro and European equities paying the toll at the close. Berlusconi seem to be leading in the some key south senate polls... Who understand Italians? ..they keep voting Berlusconi ...It's surreal really and it's beyond any rational view ...but hey that's democracy or better say that is Italy...

In any case, lots of air and noise from there, not sure about the internal politics in Italy and the little margin votes and negotiation under the table but market seems to be very clear for what they want....

Tracking (and trailing) closely any surprise in Italy (Berlusconi leading or Stalemate) for running stops in the euro at the lows and aiming for key M/W support 1.308x for the M roll...
