Yesterday was a loser, been expecting it. Things were going too well. Still, can't win them all, I'll be more concerned with the monthly report.

EUR/JPY -29.5 pips (late evening breakout, slept through successful recovery 1)
CHF/JPY -33.1 pips (Same as above, successful recovery 1 missed)
AUD/USD +36 pips (Recovery 1)

Total -26.6 pips.

Slow day yesterday, not many boxes. Still have a EUR/USD open, plus a EUR/GBP in a recovery 2 trade. I wouldn't usually trade more than 1 recovery but this is my most successful pair. I will no longer be trading the late evening boxes, too much chance of sleeping through the recovery.

Sorry FH, no charts today, I'm very busy and I'm installing the new version of the indi, 8 pairs to set up. I will be sure to post them in future.

I got stung on eur/jpy also! I was up. 100 pips then it swung around.


My biggest issue these days is trade management. fxhard has made it clear that this is up to us, but now it's the hardest part for me. This system is very clear about trade entry, trade exit is another issue. I'm trying to get that balance between greed and maximising what a trade could give me. I also struggle with setting appropriate stops so that r:r is reasonable.

I'm now using the indi, but you still need to use your discretion to enter a trade. Sometime this thread has got bogged downed with talk about indi settings. However, fxhard has numerous times said this is a naked trading system and I totally agree. If the indi shows me a box, I consider its quality, not just automatically put on trade. Your ability to judge it's quality is by doing the excercises recommended in the first few posts.

If you're still working manually its going to make your trading of this system very concrete.

I know that the savviest among us have come to realize that the pips shown in Net Pips is actually not. Because the indi does not yet account for Spread. The good news is that Xux and I have figured out a way to make it happen! So not only will the next release give a true Net Pip accounting, it will also update the Net Pips with every tick!

This is one update that even I'm really looking forward to!

I was experiencing the same problem with this, but I was notice that if my number of trades per sets reduce to 1 -4 , I can view all of the statistics, but if I have to put 6 trades then it goes the problem.. it was shifted down some of the stats... appreciate the help...

I am on post 2,480 and havent seen anyone address this question from Forexhard, which I believe is one of the most important posts I have read thus far.

I thought the answer lay in moving a stop loss once a trade has started positively towards the target.....am I on the right track?

It is bugging me so much I cant continue on without someone addressing it......


Ps or it is just a suggestion that Paradox do his homework........

Use a soft ball and let it hit you. (trade small positions relative to your account so losses are painless.)

Buy a big bat and learn to swing it. (have an authentic edge.)

Play the percentages. No shame in small gains, but you'll lose the match if a few don't go over the fence.

I'm a little bit baffled. I have taken to snapshot a appr. 1 - 2 minutes apart from each other. The difference is that the first pictures uses no template what so ever. It is just a clean graphic of the eur / usd, with the final dynamic breakout box indicator applied on it. Here is my 60 min chart at close on Friday - looks like a good box forming there. Monday be slow with hols in the US.

I would like to know which are the main changes between the last indicator (lets call it "blue box" coz there are no version number)
and the new one "braun box"

for example on the same chart same settings
blue box gives +558 pis for 100 days
braun box gives -125 pips for 100 days

It must be a great changes for such a huge difference...

I know you've all missed me.....but I'm back.....started my new job so time is currently limited.

Its amazing the speed of development that's happening with the indicator. I should be back up and running and posting charts ASAP. Keep up the good work FXH and Xux. Thanks for the voucher Xux by the way....much appreciated.

Blatantly fishing for one more voucher here (to get 4 so I can dish them out!) but its only because I'm desperate to vouch for FXH and Xux because, frankly, its the least I can do to show my appreciation!

Anyway this is my first post here after a long time silent, I just read but do nothing as I am lazy to post as I don't want to write the wrong word .
I like the system, BKO (breakout strategy) was the first strategy that I learned 4 years ago from the paying trading room and that trading room is now bankrupt (maybe paying to much for the professional teacher ).

From my opinion, we can make some pips using this system.
Thank to FH for the system and for XUX as a Programmer.

I think the EA is on the way as the indicator that XUX make is not a normal one but it's already calculated as an EA, maybe I am wrong

On that note, Im watching Eur/Gbp. I really like this pair, during the asian session (I'm in Australia) it often enters a nice consolidation period then breakouts during London.... let's see, up or down I don't care but either way I'll be ready for the break out.

(pls don't comment on my settings, they are relative, I'm just focused on this CZ)
