i have a bullish Gartley on Daily and Weekly, last Support for this view is 1590.. RSI is overcooked at 4h and Daily, so we will see probably a stronger rejection soon i think

I was feeling that this thing wasn't going to go down but yesterday was a good start and today just capped it. If we close today above the daily s3 -1611.xx- then this could be the bounce up needed
Also go weekly Tf and draw channel from last high of around 1800 and first low of 1660(maybe higher). It's looking like today's low is the bounce at 1597.
If someone can post the chart it'll be very helpful

It was the line in the sand for the rally beginning 23rd July 2012.
There was a Flat, then the Higher Low [23rd July].
It was also a significant level in forming the LH side of the Flat.
It was then tested a couple of times before an explosive rally to the Sep./Oct. High.
[My money would be on 1593-89 as the Low for GOLD.
Let's see what happens]

Yes lower price for gold with all the noise being generated.
CBs and IMF wants blower gold price as it phsycologically telling people that the economy is getting better.
My feeling is that we will see $1200 before $2000.
But that's my scotch neat talking.
Warming up the laptop to show where we might next week.

Stay tune as I get very smart after 15oz of scotch.

blue zone was last summer's trading range....if we get and stay in this zone we might range for awhile.

Also fairly certain this is a WLY Zigzag down,
which will reverse it.
That said, it could have a nasty spike low.
At least that would give a clear indication it has bottomed.

I have been using default [2],
but Fib. 1.618 is often spot on as well.

error channel i'm not familiar with....default [2]? i draw the channels myself no indicators except my own trend ma's
i've been following and trading xau.usd since march 2012 and it's the last 3 months only that i've gotten the knack and pulse of this pair....until it burns me....hehehe

but when it ranges i do very good at getting the top/bottom of the range.....now i just have to be able maximize my profit with adding to my winning trades. but i'm willing to demo trade those until i'm comfortable that i can do it without any stress....

i'm babbling....time to drink more....
