didn't want to sound hostic, sorry for that. Support and resistance have more probability to hold in futures than in stocks... where breakout are more frequent. I am happy you caught a long. Hope the Euro chaps continue and confirms its targets...

DX found resistance here. It broke the trendline too.

Trendlines are just made to be broken and I don't trust them... (you may argue they have to be broken on a closing basis or 2%-3% of price, ect. ect.....) That's just my viewpoint. Unfortunately I cannot make money with trendlines.Of course if you can make more with trendlines, more power to you... and I am happy for you.

I would like to see price moving below 80.17 which would suggest to me that a retest of the 79.80 level of support would be very probable, pushing the Euro higher.

What do you think? I had some good comments on the blog on the Dollar.

i caught a few pips shorting e/u then went long at approx 13440. i am now out of that long and waiting. we have a nice outside bar on the hourly but at the moment it looks like i willbe shorting again at 13440. lets see. be good

i went short at 13440 then added another another short at 13420, the 1st short closed for 20 pips then compounded at 13420, i will close this any time

An update on the Euro for my friends at Cesarnc's:

We had 1.3410 support and long entry. 1.3510 is the threshold I am looking at.

If we move above 1.3510 price could just keep moving straight up. Also, after moving above 1.3510, IF price moves lower again into the 1.3360 area, that should hold, but I don't think we are going to see again 1.3360.
Hope this is clear. In tonight's video it will be clearer.
On EUR/USD we currently have targets at 1.3492. This target has been confirmed with price piercing the 1.3444 on the upside.

When a long-term trend loses it's momentum, short-term volatility tends to rise. It is easy to see why that should be so the trend-following crowd is disoriented.

A quick update on the USD/CAD because I think it could have already started an interesting move lower. But there is still the possibility to play it:

The 1.0030-40 area is a significant resistance area for the USD/CAD. In case of renewed Dollar weakness we could see a move lower, into 0.9960 at least.

As usual, my scenarios:

Scenario 1. Price keeps moving lower past the 0.9980 level and trades into the 0.9960 support area

Scenario 2. Price moves into the 1.0010 support area and moves higher into the 1.0030-40 resistance again. From there the move lower can start. The initial target is the same 0.9960.

Notice that the big 1.0040 resistance level has targets below at the 0.94s...

Later on I will record a video and post it on my Blog in which I will analyze the 4-hour chart as well...

Let me know your thoughts.

.......In deed, indesicion is taking the best part of me, but an up north story I think is in the plans, at least with the major indices, Dow, S&P and NAS, so yurow will follow me think.......
