Here are AJ trades which made me missed the EJ setup.
First entry trying to catch 123 setup but too early. Second entry got stopped out at BE.
PS. I did'nt notice that AJ today have 4pip spread i/o 2pip as normal.

USD/JPY.
Trade 1: SL(-8pip) hit by the spread. Entry a bit early.
Trade 2: re-entry. Locked for some profit now and waiting for a big drop.

You may want to increase you SL and targets.... They seem quite small. Have more confidence in your entries.

I agree that psychology plays a major role in trading..we doubt the best setups and fall prey to the worst setups coz of DOUBT.DOUBT is coz of FEAR.FEAR is give to us by evolution for survival.

FEAR....has its own PROs and CONs....It will let you be cautious before taking a trade(ANALYSING)....and at the same time it will let you miss a trade because you over analysed.....somtimes while you are on a trade...it will let you get out early with just 10 pips on the 50 pips running trend.and sometimes it will get you out at 10 pips at the exact reversal setups....

When you analyse all the above things.....GREED comes into the picture.MIND always wants more....you give him 10 pips next day MIND wants 20 pips and so on....if you see my pips it has considebly reduced...i was taking close to 30 pips a day when i started this thread....but these days the opposite has happened....i dont want and dont take more than 10 pips a day.doing the opposite of what was told to us.

By doing this i gain 2 things...One is the satifaction coz most of my trades will hit the TP...and less time.less energy..another reason is ....it is a cake walk to get 10 pips....what matters is the risk....my risk is my usual risk...no change in that....im getting the same money i would get with the 70 pips TP in just 10 pips....this doesnt mean i'm risking heavily....Hope you got my point......

MIND....its a wonderful creation.It always wants what it doesnt have....if a person has 99 million...it will not be happy at that time...rather it will worry thinking that i dont have 100 million.

Now how to tame it ??

Most of the traders think that they cant be succesful.why coz there is no confident..why there is no confident...coz they take losers...why they losers coz they dont follow the rules...or dont know how to trade......

Problem is in MIND....nothing comes from outside...there is a saying...""THEEDHUM NANDRUM PIRAR THARA VAARA"" which means GOOD AND BAD DOES NOT COME FROM OUTSIDE,IT COMES COZ OF YOUR OWN DEEDS""

To gain confidence...take pips that is easily achievable(for yourself) with 1:1 risk....not necessarily that need to take 1:1...you can even take 8 pips TP with 10 pips SL (but consistently).....I always say capital protection is more important.move to BE asap....that way you can extend your lifetime by another hour....no kidding...the more you get tensed less you live....no jokes...less you will be happy(equal to dying)....

always wait for your setup...you get in wrong trade coz your are frustrated sitting the whole day...i have done it...

some Basic caring...

1)Avoid foods that will trigger anger(chillies/non-veg/eggs)..you can use pepper

2)More anger leads to everything...Anger is like match stick....it will burn others burn it burns itself....

this is one of the most important posts i have made in this forum...if you watch this you are 80% profitable already....if you have nice method...you are profitable another 20%.....


Its upto us now...if we can do...lets do it...or we will be like one of those 95% traders....

First trade of the Snake Year.
Just before leaving for visting some friends I saw the setup so I clicked the mouse and let the laptop open with Quik_Trailing.
Luckly me to come back and see the TP hit just by a 0.5 pip.

Whether you make 10 pips/day or 100 pips/day
doesnt matter....what matters is the how consistent you are in taking those pips everyday...so how to be consistent??

What is the most important thing that you need in order to to be consitent?

Sticking to the RULEs... now what do i mean?

For example: You created a rule, the LONG setup is when you see a PIN on the 200ema or NO trade.you create this rule and you wait for your setup.you wait you wait and you wait...even after 3 days the market doesnt retrace to the 200ema.you surf the forum and came to know that in those 3 days other friends of yours have made more than 100 pips...

The moment you see their winning(Jealousy).your MIND is telling you. WHY DONT YOU HAVE ANOTHER SETUP to catch those pips? in addition to the 200ema pin setup....( GREED)

You work late night and you create another rule by seeing how those folks have collected the pips by seeing their posts why they have taken it and stuff..remember the second you started looking for another setup you are violating your FIRST RULE.

You create another RULE and you wait the same happens again.on concentrating on the new setup you for forgetting your FIRST SETUP..now you are frustrated.you take trades in all the possible directions and you end of blowing accounts...you blame FOREX instead of blaming you.blaming is the so easy folks...we fail to admit our mistakes.(EGO)

The tricky part is YOU WONT KNOW THAT YOU HAVE VIOLATED THE RULE TILL YOUR ACCOUNT BECOMES EMPTY.only then you will start thinking i should have sticked to my first rule...every setup has its own PROs and CONs....

Most of the times they work sometimes they dont (solid setups)

If you want to be consistent....stick to the rules you create( i'm telling myself this lol

This thread is a GEM....You will not find it anywhere...on the planet....just with my posts...you can quit ur job...only thing which cannot be taught to u is discipline unless u practice it wont come....This will be your main obstacle..If you are disciplined you are going to make more money...and there will be a day when you will be happy with just very little money...remember money doesnt bring happiness....it all comes from within...

im not a great trader as you might think...but overall im profitable...what i have taught here...works...i dont need to prove rather no one needs to prove to anyone...coz they keep forming everyday...and i told you to take it....all you have to do is sit and take it....i might not be taking it...i might not be disciplined...i might lack patience/disciplined....but this will work for anyone who is disciplined....if you are not it doesnt matter...keep trying...it will come...it has to come and thats why you are trying....looped it is...
