Hello all,
this is a brief review and trading plan for the S&P500. As most of the time there is a direct relationship between Euro and S&P500 (especially during US session arbitraging), I thought it was a good idea to provide an update.

During last week the S&P500 index price kept moving higher according to the plan provided on February 3rd, 2013. Now before the grind higher will restart, I believe we need to see a larger retrace. The S&P500 index could indeed be at the beginning of a correction. US Dollar strength could push risk off with selling in the equity market.

Below are the two updated scenarios I see going forward (refer to the below picture):

Scenario 1. The grind higher continues only with a minor correction into the 1503 area for a continuation higher into the 1520 1st target.

Scenario 2. A larger correction would start if price slices through the 1499-1500 level. In that case we could see price reach the 1480 area. From this support area we could see risk back on and the start of a move into the 1530 area (1st target) and a continuation higher into the 1556 area (2nd target) into the Spring.

near term view..
Correction from 1.37 traversing the Static Demand Zone 1.34~1.32..
Quarter sessions consolidating above Daily TL 1.3333.. may under-shot down to 1.3268~88 prior to re-test of the recent highs & next leg up to 1.3838~88 but the EURJPY & EURGBP lead dogs seems not in agreement.. could push above 1.34 once cousin GBPUSD find footing here in-front of 1.57..

Good morning,
task for the day for me is to understand whether the 1.3360 area of support will hold or not. Also Mondays very often print the high or the low for the week, this week we could have a case here and now.
I am leaning towards the 1.3360 area not holding, I am still sticking to the latest analysis (check it below) and related levels.

It is very probable S&P500 will keep moving lower into the 1502 today.
I think fund managers are currently hedging their longs by selling futures. This is going to put pressure onto the index and will force it to trade along the EUR/USD. We are in scenario 1 of my morning's analysis on S&P500 and I think scenario 1 will become scenario 2 below 1502 (see below)

......Thanks gunawan but is fxsolutions charts but the mata traders are alos wihouth color but i think the problem is memory or space in my hard drive, but thanks anyways for you help, wellcome......

this is my updated view on the Euro FX currency futures contract (4-hour chart), scenario 2b is currently playing:

Price Action yesterday did not offer enough information to restrict the number of possible scenarios. Although the 1.3360 area showed support on Monday, the bearish and the bullish scenarios are still both open. As only measured moves short were interrupted on the 15min timeframe still we have two long scenarios and one short scenario:

Scenario 1. Above 1.3451 the 1.3360 area of support will be confirmed on the 4-hour timeframe as well and price can continue higher. Daily targets are in the 1.3870 area.

Scenario 2a. Price could move back to retest the 1.3360 area on Tuesday and Wednesday. After that price could pierce Friday's low and continue into the 1.3200 next support area.

Scenario 2b. After testing the 1.3360 area price could find new bids and resume its move higher above the 1.3451, thus creating the conditions to continue higher into 1.3870s.

I have also posted a video.

Chonchy, good morning all.A long time back i helped a friend out who runs online seminars teaching forex. I am in no way associated with the company but through word of mouth i get the occassional phone call asking me to teach others which i do but not often. i am trading this week and actually just had a negative trade lol (loss) be good

Let me post a chart update for what we could/need to see in the Euro:

The Scenario 2b indicated in the morning (check my prev post) is playing out. The 1.3451 threshold is now gone. We have two other important levels above current price that could now be violated on the upside (and there is now a good probability they will).
First is the 1.3510 level and then is the 1.3580 level.

The violation on the upside of the 1.3510 level would confirm the support area at 1.3360 also on the daily timeframe. In that case any retest of the 1.3360 should probably hold.

If the 1.3510 level is violated on the upside we could still get a retrace (that would be the entry/or an add for the big guys on this move higher), We could retrace into the 1.3450 (will be more precise on the actual area in the coming days).
The violation on the upside of the 1.3580 level would confirm the swing target in the 1.3870 area, which is where I will remove my swing longs.

PS: I am going to record a video every evening for the next day. Will also post a chart in the Euro-related threads. Check the "Euro/Dollar" thread for updates, that will be the first thread where I will post chart.

Please let me have your thoughts.

Hello billytt, thanks for your comment.
My analysis tools have limitations like any other tool. I often have only two options, but as explained in the text in this specific case I could not remove the scenarios. It was, till now, a box play with support at 1.3360 and resistance at 1.3430.

I give clear plans and well defined and strong levels (not a lot of analysis do that) and they are provided for information and entertainment only ... If then, like a lot of people here, you have additional tools that allow you to pick one scenario to be more probable of others, then, more power to you and maybe you can use my chart as an additional convincing proof that you are right.

In some cases there are less degree of freedom. In any case, if you followed Scenario 2, congratulations.
