Hi,

1. my EURUSD H4 trade hit SL, I should have closed the trade when bearish TDI cross occurred below EMA(200) with a bearish HA candle.

2. I closed manually the GBPJPY H4 trade because this CT trade was going opposite my entry . This trade should hve been closed latest when bullish TDI cross occurred with price above EMA(200) and bullish HA candle.

Same lessons learned from these trades.

I had one profitable trade this week: NZDUSD H4 short: price as below EMA(200), bearish TDI cross with bearish HA candle.

Phx62's, dee' and davson's successful trades are true inspiration!

Two trades today.....1st @ LO....set TP at 50 due to the location of the yellow resistance area......
2nd trade at NYO once price closed below resistance following a pullback bar that was then followed by a change of color (blue to red) bar.....TDI green crossing red, yellow and the 50 line.....lots of news.....set SL just above the blue double top just in case news went against my position.....set my TP at 200 pips just above the H1 200EMA......stayed in the trade because no candles closed blue before TP hit, even though there was lots of up and down movement with the news announcements....if a candle had closed blue, I would have exited the trade.

Guys, can you share your view on this EUR/USD trade?

Second the last candle is LO.

I waited for asian session to be broken. Green sloping steeply up, bounce off red and cross with yellow. SL below RN, TP at 38.2 of the most recent major move down. R-r ~1:1.

Besides third last candle tested low of the Asian session and reversed. Wouldn't go long if that didn't occur. This is CT and I am aware of this. Yet, above mentioned signals seem to be really realiable. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

PA must break previous Week Low
I eye 1.3470 at TP.
Let market decide.

I took the same trade. If you look on daily chart price was sitting at a previous R level, so expected a bounce.
The last red candle on 1H chart was very nearly a pin bar, and as you say TDI was looking up.

We have a very bad storm raging here, and I was expecting the electricity to fail. Because of that I got out for a couple of pips. Sure enough 10 minutes later we were without.
It's now back, but for how long is anybody's guess. (Cant't wait for Turkey to enter the 20th century!)

Might re-enter if PA warrants it.

I think price would resume its uptrend , now a Doji on weekly time frame shows that the market is neutral , it was following an uptrend move, so I guess the market will resume to the up side , let's see what happens , I'm still learning

SL at -29 pips. Opened a short trade on EURUSD. This time short- following the tredn. Green cross of red and yellow. London session made its high and reversed. I just have my doubts if the price will be able to go below yesterday's low.

As you wish, there goes newbies opinion:

Uptrend. One doji does not make strong reversa (yet, it is not doji anymore). Even, if it does respect EMA200.
Head and shoulders! I'd expect bigger movement after such a clear pattern as this one is. Cannot predict where the price would go. As for now there is no sign that it should reverse, no double top, not even clear and significant resistance area. According to TDI, market isnot overbought yet. Just a short pause before continuation of an uptrend.

Took the same trade myself this morning. Waited for the brake of LO and Asian high, we had also a TDI cross with green crossing also over MBL, in my opinion SS3 system by the book...in the end SL hit and -25. PHX did you also took this trade? It's exactly based on your rules, so you might also took it.

No....I traded EJ this morning.....The trade you took looked good.....the only thing I see that needed to be considered is that your long term trend (daily, H4 & H1) are short (what direction is your 200 EMA pointing...up or down?)....otherwise this trade is one of those London Open fakeout trades that occur from time to time.....
Question....why did you not take the next signal to go short? That trade went for 30 or 40 pips......

Just closed my 2nd trade of the day on EJ.....1st trade taken on break of the 200 EMA and the 2nd on a change of candle color following a pull back from a double bottom.....done for the week.

If I may... I did take it and was stopped out. The biggest possible gain I got was 28 pips. Too baad. More backtesting incominmg this weekend

Phx62, was your 1st EURJPY trade made because brakedown of two double-bottom of previous two candles (apart from EMA 200)?

As a noob and just looking at the weekly chart, I'll make a counter proposal based on the 12345-ABC pattern, a reversal off the fib 61.8, and TDI moving into overbought area. Please let me know if you think I've been too loose with the pattern to be treated as a valid possibility.

Hi

I use the indicator above to help me find the trend, but when I use it on a EA using icustom() function, it donīt returns the same value displayed on the screen. Can anyone give me some clue of what could be happen?

In my experience I have found that if you replace every instance of {} with :: then things work much better.

It was taken on a continuation of the trend of the previous candles and a break of the 200.....I was also monitoring the trade at LO because Fridays are a day when fake out candles happen at LO.....today it happened on EU but not EJ until after the move down.
