Strange reaction in my opinion.

Employment data was better than expected but not much upwards movement for AUD/USD...

**Now price is moving lower... LOL I guess the Big Boys are looking to sell AUD regardless of the printed figures!
Ignored
WHat happen to the AU ? Manipulating ?

Fulltime jobs fell 10k , plus participation rate was 0.1 lower than expected .
All up , even with the slightly better than expected headline figure of 5.4% it reads slightly bearish .

So I guess with employment news this good - and no euphoria to the upside - this is about to tank right?

The old "reaction to news" indicator! Perfect for the shorts, I loved how it tried to rally but could only muster about 10 pips then found the sellers (and me!) This market has some very stale longs with very exposed positions.... where's the exit again?

Haha I have to agree with you on this. When OK news is published yet price can't break higher you know it's time to hit the SELL button.

I'm feeling a little lazy but I see 1.015 as next target from a Daily perspective.

My A/J longs are also in the red at this time, however, I'm not concerned as my stops are still another 100 pips away and I am definitely still Bullish on ALL JPY cross pairs at the moment. Including AUD/JPY...

Do what you feel is comfortable though, I still see 104 - 107 in the cards for AUD/JPY in the coming months.

Yo what's up Bogus! What is your take on AUD/USD at the moment?

Also, curious to hear your thoughts on EUR/AUD as well.

I'm currently:
Flat - AUD/USD
Long - AUD/JPY
Long - EUR/AUD

Most news services cover this data .

The reason why we went up first was because the either headline (5.4%) came out first or a majority of traders focused on that first .
You should always wait for all the components to be released .

This is just big loads of bullshit. Employment change was 4.6K better and unemployment rate 0.1% lower but this shit still keeps shorting - AUDUSD has become a new EURUSD, when positive news comes about EUR, it still keeps shorting or reversal...

I see. These types of news releases don't really affect me as I am more of a Swing trader and trade using Weekly and Daily charts. Overall BEARISH on AUD/USD now that we have broken to the downside. Yesterday closed below 1.036 which was confirmation to me that we are headed lower in the coming weeks.
