Ugh, we're definitely in consolidation mode. However, the 1H up-trend line is still holding quite nicely with a bounce off that area about 2 hours ago. I feel it's only a matter of time before we break out, and I'm building long positions in this area.

The bears are really failing at keeping this down, quite surprised actually... When this top gives we can see 149-150 in a blink of an eye... Keep on your toes folks

It is impressive how she's managed to defy gravity. Staying patient and not getting antsy is the key here.

Hard to say where is going soon but the zone between 146.60 and 146.35 is acting like a magnet. Made some easy pips earlier on the break of 146.35 to 146.00 and the way back to 146.60.

I'm watching PA now, if price breaks 146.35 I'll trade it the same way but I don't think is very possible. If it holds, I think is time to go long. Price could rest around 143.35 where middle line of m15 bollinger band is right now and break the descending trendline to finally see some nice movement up. On H4 last closed candle is a nice doji which could be marking the end of this retracement, also StochRSI is reaching oversold levels. Let's wait and see!

so what's happening is the usd/jpy is holding above it's 93.17......pair from hail is bouyant too!

that was Carney before the U.K.'s Treasury Select Committee.....2 hours before the ecb.....which may affect the gbp also....

good advice from Bobgnarly.....the cable could easily hit 5800 today......it's been a ride down till now....as we have a new (imported from Canada) leader for GBP.....base now at 5700....the market operators don't make any money if it doesn't "bounce around"...a bit ....like 80 pips at a time if they can....

No doubt Bob. I wish I could. Still somewhat new to forex, just a year now, so the instant gratification thing still gets me. Would have been much easier if I took the first buy signal on the daily about two months ago and just left it alone. Would have been about 2000 pips by now, LOL. Good trades.
