Well i dissagree but it is putting it in context chech for yourselfabout Japan when someone made a assumption or point i like to check things for myself out first i rarely following blind people there calls is like rewards for failure. Like to check things myselffirst and i think kyle is right on the long term if you dissagree is fine for me same for faber the guy is also righ remember this guys aint scalpers and faber for example has no money behind his assumption on the us stock market. He just points out his views and that there are better places to invest. So if people just follow there shit what they say and taking the first best short or whatever in a amrket because they say this that they retarded and not a trader.So i tottally disagree with your asumption

i am not making assumptions..just pointing out a fact...Bass said in an interview when Nikki was 10,000 that long was stupid risk - Nikki is up 13% as of this morning/was higher......13% leveraged in 10 days is a nice trade. Faber said Nas and Apple too risky to short at 700

i agree with Bass about the yen weakening..

part of my point was not allowing so called experts to influence trading decisions...part of the discipline imo

if i remeber correctly i think you also pointed out some time ago (can't remeber the exact date) that you looked at Bass's returns and were surprised to see losses.......maybe i got that wrong but i have the impression you mentioned that one time fairly recently (last 4-6 months maybe)

like Prechter..called an S&P crash in 4th Q i think..i posted some clips of it here when Prechter made the call.some EW traders at FF were all gung ho too...different tune now (Prechter did the same thing back before JH too.......follow the leader.over the cliff)

bottom line is all that matters

Just an update. HMV was closed down. RBS (read brit taxpayer) took the hit.

Now RBS has to pay half a billion dollars or pounds in fines for fraud. Sorry I mean the brit taxpayer has to pay their fines. I don't think anyone is going to jail. Why?

The government is suggesting RBS employees shouldn't get their bonuses this time around. I have a better idea. It's not printable.

Apparently, the head of the trading arm of RBS, Hourican, had nothing to do with the libor thefts. Why has he left then? Can't he trade? Is it a sinking ship?

I hope Mr Carney can run a clean sweep through the British banking industry. Otherwise we're f*cked.

True mate true if i look at my post lots of i was bit rude but didnt meaned it in any of that way by reading stuff people can get fast missconceptions, Thats problems with those forums etc writed fast on laptop. You know who is funny peter shit with his europacific fund i 1 day for fun called them bit pranking asking for statements and stuff lol. He doesnt show couldnt find anything of his funds performance live tracking on internet either. So why would somebody wanna invest with his europacific fund.
But you right and prechter is the biggest fuck up off them all that guy is just fucking funny with his elliot wave crap would be funny to see when the shit tops out whe are in his thing in a new count or what the fuck either the elliot wave guys are imo the funniest of them all

i didn't take it as you being rude lol...you are direct! i love that about you. don't ever change......i was probably a bit exaggerating calling Faber and Bass clients stupid, but i do know people with high net worths very successful in a business feield and total idiots when it comes to investing.....hedge fund morons and it boggles the mind too the money i have seen people hand over to 'personalities', and lost/wiped out....then i get the 'look' when i talk about trading the usual response is/was, 'fx and futures...very risky" lol........

i know you know but the stupidity does boggle the mind and not that i am right all the time but at least have SOME knowledge, and experience in changing markets hard earned and practice or try to practice independent decision making...

i had the benefit of having spent time in the bus too so know the psychology from both sides........a lot of people, probably like Schiff, are really nothing more than gifted bullshitters and magnets for idiots with money, imo

don't know much about Bass but he seems to like being on television and espousing philosophy

i was looking for another vid on Prechter but this is the timeframe i was referring to......Oct 2012 SP at 1375 and Prechter is calling for the sky to fall, again 90% drop repeat of 1929-32 crash.......did the same trick in Aug 2010 around JH...

both times the market took off higher
