so tried to uninstall this piece of shit mcafee bollocks off my laptop (software was pre-installed on the machine from new), only to find out that it's completely fucked up my windows 7 security center, tried to reinstall and now i just get a blank screen when i try to load the mcafee menu and what's worse is the fucking pop-ups now have an audible alert sound... seriously, i'd rather have a frickin virus on it than this shyte... grrrrr!!!

on a brighter note, i sold 3592 to exit my lgs, would've only held in the event of a momentum break out at the asian open... it appears to have been exactly the right thing to do... still have a little work to do to totally erase monday's losses mind...

I use revo uninstaller....clean uninstall and it will deep scan and clean registry for any "leftover" crap

Next time, you think of buying such a bloatware-machine, aka as "a plastic bucket running MS Windows", remind your vendor that while you're buying a license for that pos of an OS, you have the right to get a natural copy of that OS on a disc, not harddrive, a physical entity. And then, guess what, format your harddrive, answer the 2000 questions of "Are you really sure, you want to move your mouse in that direction?"-questions with a "Yes, I'm legal and I pretend to know what I do. Thanks, Mr. Ballmer." and have a bloatware-free machine.

God, who uses McAffee anyway when you can have Avast?

sony vaio, it's a beautiful machine, getting a bit old now, still running intel core duo...

bought it new from an on-line vendor and made a system back up disc back when it was brand new, but don't really want to use it and lose all my data, goldmine of trading pdfs, installed programs, my mt4 build, my pr0ns, etc. etc...

Yeah, those pesky system-backup-discs are one of the most useless inventions ever for the reasons you give.
A dedicated trading machine for just that purpose doesn't need to be shiny from my pov... is the sturdy Thinkpad still in production?
