Yes..looks like a "buy" basket, I only took GU trades..currently BE+40(multiple trades)..I shld have taken the GJ,but I didn't feel comfortable. The euro is weak so taking euro longs may be problematic. Although this would be a good place to buy the EU and EJ,but not the EG..my bias for today is a strong GBP and weak EUR..The USD is also up,but not by so much(currency meter)..

P.S: note that the UJ is playing around the 93 area..if we get a rejection here, we are going to see a general drop on all the yen pairs. If this happens,my pair to short is the EJ..remember that the trend can change at any time

Could somebody please explain this to me? I opened the buy basket as a re-entry on M15 last friday. The entry time and level is marked with the green lines. The price on the chart moved up a couple of hundred pips since then, but my trade is still in hte negative. Is my chart flawed?

Oh, I see. In fact, I must learn a lot on how to take advantages of the Currency Meter.
Although I also have put the script on the chart but It is still useless until now.

chart flawed , please make the indicator generate the offline charts once more to get the real pic

I don't think your chart is flawed, its the same with mine. but my time 18:16 while yours was 16:15, around that time, the spreads used to be outrageously very high. around this time I ve seen EG at 17, EU which is the lowest at 7. So if you opened a basket around the close of Friday you incur a very high spread, doing business around that time is very expensive.

Also many times when the whole basket is trying to turn or an influential member of the pairs is retracing the profit would start decreasing depending on which of the leaders is leading the pack, and it may pick up again.

Try to observe spread by this Friday and you will see what am trying to say.

And @ GVC could you please put it on the EA that when spread is > 70 OR allow user to select maxSpread => 70, it should ignore the trade?

Its in mine and it saves me from expensive orders even around news time

My brokers server time is GMT+0 so 16:15 was 3 hours after the NY open. It was arund 6 hours before market close, I never experienced spreads this high before, there was some news event 15 minutes before, my broker would raise the spreads for that much time? The basket was around +300 pips up when my trade was around breakeven in money, but I didn't remember that when openig the basket this big initial DD was there. I don't know what happened, I closed this basket now, and will reenter on M5 or M15 into a H1 long trade. I will look out for the spreads in the future, and take notes on it.

@Unimak: I restarted my platform several times, deleted the .hst files, reinitalized the BasketV6 indi several times before I posted here.

The UJ saw some rejection at 93, the yen pairs dipped as expected,took some pips off the EJ. If the UJ closes below 93 for the day,then we could see a sell basket soon. I'm anticipating a retracement before the drop..or not. Sitting on my hands till the H1 signals a move.

GBPUSD has reached the lower weekly trendline that goes back to 2008 and the EURGBP is testing the top of its channel

Me too.

But that's of course accepting the calculated risk of not just acting on the 15M but also going against longer term direction. In addition, there's a level coming up that showed strong support on Feb 1st.

In the meanwhile I have no complaints that it's bouncing along nicely down the slide I drew for its convenience.

I guess in the next several hours EA will open short Basket.
I'm on H1, HAS 2,11,2,11.
Going to sleep now. EA is running on VPS, so I'm stress-free.

just recently found out about this method, so far +400 pips in about 5 trades (first 3 were trying-out-the-system-and-getting-used-to-it, lost some pips there).

Just wanted to ask whether you guys trade against higher TF's trend (i.e. short entry signal on 15m / 1h, but long trend on 4h)

Also, Kos (and maybe others) - I have read on the first page that you were going live on micro account with this system. How did it go? If you are not comfortable with publicizing any particular figures, just rate it on scale of 1-10 (1 being lost it all, 5 - breakeven, 10 - doubled / tripled / quadrupled...) =)

Thanks a lot for this system and the work and effort you have put into it.
