I use 11 and a half - that way I stay ahead of the retail/commercial/DB traders. In fact, banks call me to ask where the currency pairs are heading! ^^

MAXIM, the trick here is that one step is the maximmm.... When you use 11-1/2, it is way too far. You will get lost in the charts ......

Fits in nicely, my tp is 1.04898. And we just broke 1.0458.

But would be just shy of 61.8 of the move from 1.03574 when I filter out the noise.

I dont know where everyone is getting the long signal from... lol
There is a possible rate cut on the cards when the reserve bank meets in a week becasue news is not good.
The government is going to make sure the Aussie de-values as it is damaging to the economy.
Thats my 2 cents. Im short!

Can I add another 2 cents worth as I agree in principle but I don't think that the RBA has the balls to do what is right for the dollar/country. I still have this nagging feeling and I don't have charts to back this that the dollar bcould hit 1.10 in Feb and then collapse below parity

I have heard this theory that it will hit 110 its all over articles and the news, speculation meant to drive the price. Must be careful.

Hard to tell I would call it ranging (5m)because it is up and down like a happy girls nickers 1h and 4h it is heading down after a bit of a rise

Ah well, I don't see it as long as we don't close above 1.05, should it be the case I'll bail and find higher levels to re-enter shorts
