also just noticed and don't recall reading it anywhere else (but not been reading much analysis lately anyway), 3490 is the 50% fib ret of the big multi-year down leg, may 2011 to july 2012...

edit- so back exactly where we were for this morning's frankie open... what a "pants" day...

so gunna put what's left of my days off to good use and go play some playstation...

Well don't confuse getting forward and tracing a technical progressive new economic and social path (with or without the EU) with going backwards and repeating history with the expensive mistakes (we have seen way too many times in the last 700 years) just for short term political gains (if he gets anything at the end...) ....

Point being, one expect a serious mature, well debate and presented plan with a strong focus on economics and markets both for the UK and for the EU from the land were economic liberalism was born (Adam Smith ..although he is Scottish, and in a few months, maybe not part of the UK) instead of pure populism, Chavez style noise for the masses...We got nothing for the UK economic problems and nothing neither positive or negative for the EU just pure uncertainty and noise....

The few details we got was "we want to repatriate before we go out" Human Right Law, any Environmental Policy and any minimum social standards (I am talking about basic worker rights like equality, discrimination, etc) that are valid across Europe (including non EU countries like Norway and Swisterland) .....so really that's what is the main problem with the EU (are prolly the only good things after free trade) really? and that why the UK is in triple recession? really? ...WTF? .... sorry mate don't get me wrong, I expect no less from the UK than leading changes not waning kicks from a fading Empire....

In simple words, no history books for him yet I call it just unnecessary populist noise to hide the triple dip in the economy and to get rid of the coalition next election.... The problem with the gamble is that if it backfire it can be very costly as there is no plan of action (either for in or out) if things fail except isolation and expecting everybody else including the US to just come back because the UK is too cool to be alone...

Just the obvious:
- price is currently near the 50% fib at 3490;
- 3885 was the high from Feb29;

I am prepared for a bit teasing and testing around here and the next minor levels would be 3550-3580 (not highlighted in weekly chart)

Last weekly candle has broken out of cloud and it is not rare to see cloud support tested again in the following candle. In this case I will consider adding to long at around 3280 (not highlighted in weekly chart)
