Mr pip,
what sort of parameters do you use for your money management (slowdown multiplier)? Ive attached an excel simulation which simulates what you would earn if you won every trade and what you would lose if you lost every trade, with a graph of risk in percent and lot sizes for each. I think its right.

I notice there is an initial spike in risk with this MM, with a slowdown of 10. also its extremely sensitive to initial conditions, like initial risk, the lot size it converges to changes with initial risk .

edit: the profit amount isn't related to the initial amount, so have to change both. also the profit amount doesn't seem to make a difference. I also forgot to include reward/risk ratio.

eidt: now it does include rr.

edit2: now it includes the 'wait for x% increase before increasing lots according to strategy'. wow, what a difference in the curve! much nicer!

Just catching up on the thread and want to say that I'm definatley doing better than I was even a month ago. I've been trading patterns for some time and have been consistently profitable thanks to Jason Stapleton and Triplethreattrading.com , now 'Trade Empowered.com'. This is taking my trading to another level. For the first time in my trading career I'm actually getting some quality education that hasn't cost a cent. So thank you MR Pip and to everyone else that posts in this thread - your questions and comments are still helping others including me.

Mr Pip , have you thought about taking the next step and opening a live room where we could watch and learn as you trade live ? I'm in Australia but would sit here at 4 am to watch you and listen as you share your thoughts and reasons as you enter and exit trades??

Good day Mr. Pip,

my entries and exists are off. i lost some money. my weakness is the rules. hence, please be so kind to advise. i am on the 1H chart EUR/JPY. There is a channel and it seems to be following AB=CD rule. my question to you is it a rule that BC = DE?

on a final note since we seem to be at the end of E, what rule would we apply to asses if the market is in for a massive down turn or will the trend up continue?

Waiting for it to go into the box.. if its really going down itll probably only rest in there a short time if any. on the other hand, smaller harmonics are lining up almost perfectly into the box. so maybe its gathering momentum to the upside? idk well see!

It stalled at the 161.8 line. ill keep that in mind, next time harmonics stall and it went to the 61.8
