Hi,

could you tell me where the 200ma came in and its use, I'm studying this system but its not mentioned in the first page setup. Would you also be kind enough to share what TF you use it on, I read 200ma is a daily (due to 200 trading days a year), so if its on a lower TF do you divide it down, or have you found it just helps filters on lower TF. I'm guessing it is used on hourly? Price above MA buy, below sell?

My apologies in advance if this is a repeated Q but 10,000 posts in this thread is a monster :-)

Took the breakout of the bullish pennant and break of yesterday's high during the late Asian session.....TDI green PL was already above the yellow MBL and about to cross the red TSL....S/R lines are not slowing price down much right now.

Take two trade EU. One base on bullish pennant, the second trade base on price break S/R, Yesterday H and price patterns, all with TDI confirm

You do not need to read 10,000 posts. There are several PDFs in the attachments section dedicated to PHx62s posts in those you will find answers to all your present and future questions.

Hi PHX,

Could you please show me what is the main purpose of using 50 line on TDI?
I see you offend enter trade when TDI green not yet cross red already (just 5 - 10 minute of that candles), because sometime I enter trade when I see green cross red but few minute late green turn back and continue previous trend.. How can we avoid this trade?

I wanted to enter this trade way back when the movement started, but just could not pull the trigger, I think I lacked the confidence because I did not see all the details in the Price Action that were screaming this is might be a good trade

Going back today to study the chart , I think I've noticed that there was actually an AB=CD pattern that was starting to form at Frankfurt Open , I wanted to trade on that candle but could not pull the trigger, waited London Open, that same story happened , wanted to trade but was stuck in the storm of mixed emotion.

Please take a look at my chart and tell me what were my mistakes

First of all I do not see that you made a mistake. At the moment you clearly lack confidence, That is not a crime, it is understandable, and it is a phase that we all go thru not just once but many times. Confidence comes with screen time, confidence comes with familiarity and experience. Stick with it, you are on the right track.

I have attached 3 charts. This is the sort of analysis you should do before taking a trade. 4 Hr chart. Pennant. Breakout Pullback Confirmation of the Pennant. Price target for a Pennant.

1 Hr Zoom out. Multiple Tests of S&R. PA is ranging, but, If I take the 123 entry it is only 20 pips to the S&R level, but, my stop would be 20 pips that gives me a 1:1 R/R, is that acceptable? The 123 is also a BPC of the Pennant.

1 hr zoom in. I will let you fill in the blanks here--------------------------

These explanations , notes, ideas what lacked me in pulling the trigger, yes I saw the market moving in harmony , what was going on I lacked, which is why I could not take the trade, I tried to find the price action that your showed in details but because I'm still new these were beyond what a 4 months in Forex could have found

With experience and people trying to help in this thread , I will crawl deeper in these methodologies, with learning curve and watching chart day by day to build confidence and experience, these price action strategies would make sense and easier to snap when an opportunity is set up

Thanks Dee for your as usual detailed information trying to help us new comers to Forex, so from now until tomorrow, let's see what this week might hide for me

The last tow days I had only one trade that went against me, yes I learnt form it, wrote it down, took print screen of the chart, put the notes of what went wrong, and been studying this chart into my mind for the last 2 days
