According to this report, I have lost 216.1% (19.8% + 196.3%). Still scratching my head, how I managed to lose more than what I invested.

Return in itself is irrelevant; it is a function of risk, and other factors like trading frequency, and compounding frequency. If you have a genuine edge, you can create a risk model to generate as much or as little return as you want to make, depending on the level of risk that you're willing to take. Explained in more detail here.

Last year was not good for me compared to previous years. Earned 10% from the investment. Will try to improve this year.

I made 7538 pips in 2012 (my goal is 20 pips per day, so came slightly ahead). Won't tell you what my pips are worth though.

It's all about the calmar ratio. Mine was 3.9 last year. This year i'm on track at 4 . Has been around 3-4 past 4 years or so.

fxstat does your calmar ratio.

but it's simple calculation.

take your return for the year/your maximum drawdown for the year. Best to have multiple years-in this case take your compounded annual growth/your maximum drawdown over the years.

ratio of
< 1 = you suck
1-2 = you're ok
> 2 = you're da bomb

can't tell you percentage wise, but i made just over £40k last year , thats around $55k dollars i guess.

previous year i think it was around £34k.

may not be a great deal to some high flyers, but for part-timer like myself, its alright.

looking to increase on that this year, perhaps three times that much ? well, iam already up by about £3k, so hopefully will get there !

made 1200% from July till November on small amount of money (less than 1k$) - it was just interesting how hard is to double,tripple and so on your first deposit and get a normal starting capital.
and also made approx. 200% on main deposit (20%per month).

goal for this year is to make 30% per month with less than 1% risk/per deal

Waooooow...... U guys are really doing great....

I lost 33.88% of my acct...so so sad...I am still struggling with my emotions when it comes to trading. Hopefully this would be a better year
