Now that the year 2007 is drawing to an end, I would like to ask you how much did you make out of forex in 2007, in percentage terms, relative to you equity (ROE).
For me, currently is a negative return of about 5% relative to my equity invested so a net loss. Anyway it is true that trading FOREX is a true learning experience in which you also find out a lot of issues also about yourself (habbits, "bad" behaviours such as lack of discipline and/ or patience, etc).
Anyway, I consider this 5% negative return (rather than say loss haha) as an important victory since this is the first year in which I actively traded the FOREX market (if you don't consider the previous smaller account that I wiped out in about three months) so my goals for the next year are to keep focus, discipline, money management, not to overtrade and not to become obsessed with charts the whole day long. In terms of return I will aim for 30% ROE next year as this was also the goal this year.
