Hi Guys,

Learners like me glean a lot from studying other peoples trades. It's great that everyone posts their trades up but it would be great if a little bit more detail could be posted with each. Most people only post the direction (buy/Sell) and pips made/lost. Obviously a chart snap shot would be great but not everyone's that computer savvy. It would be great if the following was noted though.

Trade type - Kos 14, Core 5, other more obscure Basket pairs being trades
Chart Signal - What time frame the signal was on

I find if people post both of those additional items I can usually look back over my charts and see the signal. That way we can all learn something from the different experience levels present.

Ha, thought you might think that was targeted at you TJ, it wasn't. I picked up enough from the pic of your trade window. It was just bad timing yours was the last post before I got up this morning and made mine.

Bounces are becoming non-existent on the H4 HAS, looking for PA to bust through.

Hello everyone,

Have been reading this thread and started on micro account still haven't truly grasp this strategy very much but still it's better than any strategy I have ever tried before it's unique compared to any one pair strategy..for now I think I'm going to read it one more time to get a better picture of this strategy, since I could only trade for 8 hours so I need to create a precise entry to get in and out on the same day targeting only 150 or 200 pips a day because I couldn't let the trade goes without real SL and TP such as in one pair.

Same same, very interesting watching - waiting.
lots of fighting going on, producing long wicks and returning bars, almost like pin bars.

It's funny how BOJ works with their QE but as long as pips are landing in our basket right?

ej brks 120.09 by posting a nice high , abv 117 if ej statys then 121.9 is on, let us hope ej gets some fire power, market is as good as dead as of now.

Sorry for the newbie question, but could anyone tell me what HAS stands for? I keep seeing mention of it but though I've gone through a thousand posts I can't figure it out. Guessing that it was an indicator or EA of some sort I even went through all the attachments on this thread but there isn't anything that would match the HAS abbreviation.

HAS stands for Heikin-Ashi-Smoothed. You will first find it mentioned in post 3 and the heikin_ashi_smoothed.mq4 or ex4 all over the attachements.

Dunno which charts you are looking at, but the basket has dropped over 1000 pips since Sunday open.

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware of Heiken Ashi and have studied it a bit, but didn't connect the regular mention of HAS in the thread with Heiken Ashi and suspected the HAS reference was in relation to one of the many EAs/indis created/modified specifically for basket trading. I'm being an idiot today, sorry. Many thanks for clearing the confusion.

Re the yen pairs dropping this week - maybe it's a case of the smart money selling the news. Can't help feeling, though, that with Japan's commitment (need?) for a circa 90 price, the current decline is merely temporary and price will bounce off the daily trendline to head back up to at least 90-91.
