looking for another broker and duka comes to mind.

anyone done analysis duka prices vs fx futures vs spot, regarding slippage during volatile times?

Been using Dk Switzerland for 3 years, best account I have ever used.
Spread + commission at least as good if not better than most competitive brokers.
Trade time can be seconds to days - they don't seem to care; so great for scalping.
Trading platform continues to work even through surprises - such as NFP or unexpected sovereign downgrades.
Never seen any dirty tricks.

I have no comparison data to fx futures

....bugs.
JForex has been getting better.
In the early days I also tried the JClient interface, but I prefer JForex for manual trading.
The only things that come to mind are the strange positioning of some sloping lines when you change the chart time-frame. Also there are occasions when the OHLC indicator box can forget that it should be looking at the current candle instead of wherever the mouse pointer was, but at least there is a button to re-connect this feature.

Support has always been attentive. I have not felt the need to contact them more than a couple of times.

I try Dukascopy Android platform. I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 mobile phone (no the big S3, only 3 :-) ), and be out of conceit with SWFX Trader. The candlechart altogether fail to appear. My phone old or poor, or this application wrong? Anybody have any experience this Android application?

hello all
as you can see, i'm new here
in the last couple of days i read all this thread. i swear, it looks like a tv series: at first, dukascopy is a good broker, everybody's happy etc. after comes the first wave of complaints, followed by...satisfied traders, and at last dukascopy isn't at good as it was "in the last episode".
anyway, as you probably guessed by now i'm interrested in trading with this broker but there's a "but".

the very first "but": i cannot understand the relationship between this broker with molecule6. i'm aware of it's aspects since i've read the thread but...why would a company, in any kind of industry offer to it's targeted clients a cheaper solution...which would decrease the company's revenues (i'm sorry for this "but", it's a bad habbit caused by working in marketing, and i also have a marketing masters degree so i'm thinking in marketing terms). it just doesn't make sence...example: let's say you own apple. you launch iphone17 (this is your only product). your company has it's own branded stores, the istores, in which the price for the phone is...let's say 400E. but at any other phone shop...the price is 210E....well, in this case, you would lose 190E/every phone you sell. the question is: what to do, close all the istores or sell the phone in these istores for 210E...? because i don't see any reason for buying that phone from the istore any more (and you probably guessed by now what would happen). and i don't even want to imagine what's the financial lose specially in forex trading since the purpose of a trading account is to trade, and this is an "activity" while, in the example i gave earlyer, buying a phone takes place just once (i hope you understand my point of view). so...i think there's a catch. + i've watched, well actually listened to a video made by andre gauthier on molecule6.com and other than insisting on that "45% rebate" it says nothing else. + it made molecule6 sound...cheap and not professional. i've almost had a similar experience with markets.com

anyway, long story short: are you sure there isn't a catch in trading with this IA?

maybe i'm being paranoic (i hope i am)

i also have another question for the users that trade (live) with duka/m6:
did you have any problems with withdrawals..?and how long does it take for the money to enter your account/s?

hope i haven't offended anyone
just my 2 cents

I didn't heard about molecule6 , but from what I understand they are just an affiliate, : you bring me costumers, and I'll pay you a % back from want I earn from them.
Looks pretty standard to me, and is a common practice in marketing world

I also think there's no catch in trading with them, you can also google for someone who can give you 49% back. I did this ~2 years ago and still have my 49% return, no problem. Its max you can have, all Dukas IAs have 50% to give: to you and themselves... You need to choose one.

please read more carefully, they say on their website:
"...as Introducing Agent promoting Dukascopy, we are paid for our services with rebates from the commissions charged on your account… But, the big difference is that we are giving back a large chunk of our rebates to you, the traders. Furthermore, the rebates are picked up automatically by Dukascopy from our rebates and deposited directly in your live trading account every month."

ok....but i still think it's something like a conflict of interest in the relationship between duka and m6...because at this point m6 is more attractive for new traders than duka...if they didn't give that rebate i wouldn't have had this issue...as i said before maybe i'm just paranoic.

anyway, and the withdrawals..? is everything fine?

just my 2 cents

Do I have to send the original of the certified documents or is a photocopy of the certification enough?
